I've tried everything, even bleach, but these little mutherfuckers smell like the ass end of a rabid possum. They soak up the kitchen grease and soap that's on your hands and never give it up. It's always in there, hidden, like the nasty horrors in your drain. Sure, they keep their shape and color like nothing else. They always look brand new. What a shock when you do a chore and dry your hands and later when your hands get near your face you think, what the fuck is that nasty sour smell?? It's your hands. Micro fiber is evil. I am throwing these things in the rag box to be used the next time my toilet overflows. And then they'll be thrown in the garbage where they belong. Stinky, stinky poo.

i don't like these either!! i thought i was the only one!!! i'll stick with paper towels, replaceable sponges, etc....
Me too. I don't use many paper towels. Too expensive.
i don't use too often, but when i get 'em i get 'em at aldi's....
I use two rolls a month. I buy the good ones. My DIL pisses me off when she grabs 4 or 5 of mine to wipe the baby's nose. I'm like, wtf, no wonder you run out of money. Harsh on his nose too, but, he's tough.
I use maybe one roll a month, when it's just me. When The Kid comes home we go through a roll in 4 days. WTF, she's not paying for them.
a paper towel to wipe a nose?!?!? ow!!!
kleenex? handkerchiefs? i actually have handkerchiefs, about 2 dozen....saves a lot of money when it comes to buying kleenex....
This really surprises me ! I use mine all the time with no smell problem . I wash them with the kitchen towels using Tide and bleach . I got mine at Walmart . I really like to use them . My brother got some for me at a car place that are even better because they are real thick . They're good for washing dishes . Maybe you need to try a different brand .

There is only one brand here. I don't know which brand. I'm gonna go look. It says MicroFiber, made in China.
I must have missed that the other day when I threw china out of my house. Dear load, what is IN these things??
I buy them to make a cozy little hammock for my pet rat "Romeo" that's about all they are good for.
I like the ones that have a netting on one side. I use them as washcloths, they are great for exfoliation! I've never noticed a bad smell.
