Carly Simon did what now?

HERE is a fun read about Carly Simon. It about a book that accuses Simon of having an affair with married Jeremy Irons. It made me laugh. Of course she did. Please. Carly was an icon and a staple of the hippie culture. She managed to live through the 60's and 70's. Her affairs with famous sexy men are legendary. There was Mick Jagger, Kris Kristopherson, Cat Stevens, Warren Beatty and many more. Not to mention her marriage to James Taylor. Have you seen young James Taylor?? OMG.

They also mention, 'You're So Vain" and "Anticipation" as if that's the sum of her work. Those songs are not even close to her best work. They never mention songs like "Cow Town" or "Comin' To Get You" which is about family trying to take her children away because she's 'lazy and crazy'. You can hear her life in her songs. Carly was the real thing. She never needed auto tune or skimpy costumes. They also never mention the time John Belushi got fucked up at a party and threw Carly over his shoulder, carrying her around. She was wearing a skirt and no underwear and showed half the Hamptons her hoo ha. Carly Simon survived...and it's a damn good story.
