TMZ thinks they have a scoop here with blaring headlines about Paula Deen caught, CAUGHT!, eating a cheeseburger. She has type 2 Diabetes. Who do they think they are and where do they do their research? The National Enquirer? Mad Magazine? People with type 2 can eat anything they want, in moderation, as long as they take their medication responsibly. You do have to re-learn things about food and how it affects you as an individual, but, you can most certainly have a fucking cheeseburger without incident. The uninformed ignorant food police suck ballsack. They should go back to monitoring Angelina's imaginary fetus.

For the first time ever, I feel sympathy for Paula Deen

That's the single most disgusting image I've ever seen. And I've seen an image of myself naked and bending over.
The meat is fine, the cheese is fine, most of the condiments aren't too bad. The carbs in the bun are the biggest issue there.
And yeah, back off, ignorant dumbasses, and leave her alone.
I am not a diabetic, but, the diabetic police really piss me off. People just need to get a life and keep their noses out of other peoples' business. It's mean and small of them to post that picture, and try to say what she should and should not eat.
I'm not a Paula fan but I think they are being particular hard on her. On the other hand that's her price for for fame and money. I'm sure she will be able to move on with out scabs or diabetic comma.
Catspaw, I agree, though I don't have a carb problem as long as I moderate it. Like, I wouldn't have fries if I ate the bun. Carbs help me come out of a diabetic incident quicker than say, orange juice.
I love you people that act like you understand diabetes. First off, we are allowed meat the size of a deck of cards once a day, that burger is at least half a pound. Cheese is to be used sparingly, fried things almost never so the carbs are the "icing" to make it horrible. Being that most diabetics are on a calorie per day and that burger alone burned up 80%, yes she could of made better choices. Type 2 diabetics are supposed to eat the same as Type 1. I am a Type 1 diabetic that is also a nurse. Take it for what you will. DD is right, carbs are a sugar raiser and good to grab if you are experiencing a low if you can't get sugar.
