What a night

Actually, what a week. Lissa has the flu, I spent yesterday and last night cleaning projectile vomit. She finally got to sleep around midnight and I drifted off too. I dreamed that I was living alone in a cool hippie apartment in Soho. Mick Jagger came over because apparently, we are old friends. It was old Mick, not young Mick. But, he's still hot. We'd decided to get busy and I was admiring his lips when three women I don't know walked in. They were all young and wore too much makeup. They said I had to babysit Alissa and a little girl baby. Mick hid behind a tapestry curtain, because he's polite like that. After they dropped off the children, I told Mick we could just visit and have some hot tea and Alka-seltzer Plus, but, he said he had to go. I told him I'd give him a Vicks Vapo Rub massage, but, he kissed me and left. He said he'd call me though. I looked out my window to watch him leave and the three young women with too much makeup were on the stoop, smoking. (I don't want to judge them, but, I think they were hookers.) As Mick Jagger passed them, they asked, "Who's the old guy?" I woke up.

Last week I dreamed Ryan Gosling came over to walk my dog because he knew I was tired. I've actually never thought about Ryan Gosling before, but, I thought that was very considerate. I have become fond of him now.

You have the most interesting dreams! Maybe you'll get lucky the next time.

Hope Lissa is feeling better & you don't catch what she has.

I feel feverish and nauseated, but, I'm hanging in there. The entire livng room carpet smells like bleach and Febreeze. I have tons of bedding to wash. We went through 3 sets of pjs and 12 pair of socks between us last night. No wonder I wanted to live in Soho last night.

Hubs and I were justing talking about Mick yesterday! We were talking about going to see Van Halen with David Lee Roth and were wonderin' how many moves (JUMP) he still had left. We both said well Mick still has them!!!

Hope the worse is over ... sure sounds like it!

Hope Lissa is over the worst and you can by-pass it. What's up with the dog!! Feeling empathy and wanting to share???

Wouldn't mind either one of those dreams. Lucky you ;-).

DD...I hope you, Lis, and Niki will start to feel better. I get a flu shot every year and so far it has worked. And I totally get the Mick thing. But I wouldn't kick Segal out either. Heck, at this point in my life, Pee Wee Herman isn't looking bad! EEWWEE!!!! Maybe not!

Miss Tia...my go to person...how much B12 can I safely take daily?

Miss Tia said...

well if you are taking a multi-vitamin, they usually have 6 mcg of B12 in them which is the 100% recommended dose....now, i know that people get B12 shots and you can take additional B12 as a 'boost' but you cannot and should not take it for very long (the 'stars' who get B12 shots daily and/or before shows are really being irresponsible as are the dr's giving them the shots too much B12 is not good for anyone---like many vitamins or herbs)....

if you are buying JUST B12 tablets....you can get B12 in 500mcg tabs....if you wanted to boost your B12 intake i would recommend one tablet every 3 days for 9 days....then wait 30 days and do it again if you felt you needed it...

were you just going to get B12? or a B-complex formula? B-complex formulas might have a lessor than 500---higher than 6 B12 amount....also they might have niacin, so look for a 'no flush' or 'non flush' version, as sometimes vitamins have a high amount of niacin and you'll basically turn red and have a hot flash as your body processes the niacin....

probably too much info!!!!! i have a multi-vitamin (naturemade mutli for her with d3) and it has iron, but i have an additional iron supplement because i know i lack iron....i take cal/mag too...and potassium, flax oil, and since i'm fighting a cold vitamin A.....i have YET to find a b-complex formula that i like!!

Miss Tia...Thanks for the info. I don't need the niacin. I like the 1 every 3 days for 9 days. That should work out right. I knew you could help me!

i only mentioned the niacin, as i didn't know what kind of b12 you were buying---straight b12, or a complex, which usually has niacin....had to mention that before you took it and was like WHAT is going on?!?!?!

happy to help!!
