Just a reminder, there's a Blue Moon tonight. For those of you unfamiliar with the Moon's cycles, it is not actually blue. It is the extra Moon in the Moon's cycle. Usually, there are 12 Moons, or New Moons, as they're known, one for every month. But, every couple of years or so, the extra days of months like August mount up in the calander and we get an 'extra' Moon. Called the Blue Moon. It's where that old phrase 'once in a Blue Moon' comes from. Blue Moon's traditionally have more power. More feminine energy. You can look that up if you're curious. I plan to make some Moon water from it to store.

I haven't seen a blimp in forever. I'd like to go up in one, just to say I did.
Me, too!!!! The Goodyear Blimp docks off the 405 fwy; I would love to take a ride or better yet, fly the damn thing.
They said this moon was occuring the same day as Neil Armstrong's funeral and to please take a good look and wave for Neil. :( IF you believe that even happened. Moon water? How do you do that? Just set some water outside? Does it move or shrink or what? The moon has very strong powers. We could not exist w/o it.

Yes, set water outside in a glass container. See through, any color that's significant to you or clear. Let it shine! I will think of Mr. Armstrong, that's cool.

I found it really hard to resist participating in this kind of fundraiser when my kids were in school. I didn't want to show my cheap side, but I really hate buying overpriced stuff.
When I did give in, I'd tell myself I was actually donating the money and got a token gift in return. That took the sting out of the ridiculous price.
But people know you're not Rockerfeller, DD, so just be sensible and buy what you need and what you want.
So my son's baby is due Saturday, maybe it'll start tonight???
ACTUALLY i have heard from people who have rode in the blimp they DO let you take control for a minute or so....of course under guidance.....i am OBSESSED with the Goodyear BLIMP!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Thanks Pat! I got a square clear glass vase from the Goodwill I'm cleaning out right now. I'm going to set it out, but I'm not sure if I can stay awake long enough to see the moon. Last year I made my moon water every full moon and put it in a spritzer. Every day when I went into work I would spritz my area for protection from my cunt boss. Now I work from home, but she still gets to me over the phone, through email & instant messenger. She's the biggest bitch I've ever met in my life. She's made me cry 3 times since I've been home working. Of course she doesn't know that.
I thought about you DD last night and making some moon water. Question is, what all do you use it for?
Geez, I bet it is easier to fly than a jet plane, no? (What am I saying, I have never flown a jet plane, either!) It would be cool to do barrel rolls in a blimp! Hahahaha - maybe it's best if I remain a passenger.
O, btw, thanks for the moon water info; I am going to set a clear red dish out tonight. Do you make a wish on it or just let it be? Do you say a spell or chant? I am excited!

no, the blimp does no tricks, aside from fly overhead and has dozens of people flying out of their houses to look up at it.....when there's more than one in the area traffic will even slow down to look at them....
the blimp actually has a max speed of like 35mph....usually they go slower than that when they are on a 'cruise'....if i ever get on the blimp, i could take some godiva chocolate with me and truly, at that moment i could die extremely happy! :)
You need nothing more than good intentions to make Moon water. You can use it for anything you want. I save it for Solstice days. It becomes my water spirit element. I like to honor all the elementals. I try to stay on their good side.
Can it help with a total shock to your life? My whole life went to shit last night. My heart is broken ....
