Lauren Conrad the book murderer

Lauren Conrad is getting hella flack for a vid she put on of her doing a craft project with books. SO many people are mad at her for destroying books. How dare anyone tell someone else what they can do with their books! I've used old books and antique music sheets in projects. They belong to me and I can do whatever I want with them. You can't go around destroying public books because you don't approve of the content, but, if they belong to you..burn away. People are assholes. I use Reader's Digest condensed books to start fires all the time. Suck it. Her craft project is not interesting to me, but, it's not that bad. HERE is a vid, if you're curious. I don't know why this girl wants to be Martha Stewart, but, it's her life. People need to mind their own business.

Thats kinda cute, but she should have used the pages to cover the inside and outside of the box. My gawd, we have gift shops here that cover walls with old book pages, it's very shabby cool. Nobody cares, old sheet music too. It does become unusable at some point usually, so why not re-purpose it? There are tons of crafts you can do with old books & the pages. Those were just normal books, not 1st editions, w/e. Radicals!!! PETA for book lovers?

She repurposed the books. Differant than destorying.

Agree with Anonymous - she REPURPOSED the books. This wasn't a destructive act. Fuck off, general public, mind your own business, get creative.

They would have been put in the outhouse when I was a kid. The old ones were soft..lol.

OK, so this was posted at Pinterest today. No link provided to Laurens video tho. Now it will be ok to do. No radical protestors on Pinterest.

I like the idea of using books for crafts! I have TONS of books that sit on a bookshelf that I may never look at again, why not use them in a craft so they can sit on my table and be a discussion piece or something?
