Know all about it. Hollow point are made soley for killing humans. They are not the only gov'r agency buying up ammo. DOHS just bought jillions of rounds from Remington. Other agencies have as well. People are starting to wonder, what do they know that we don't know? I think they are expecting a race war after the election, or the banks failing, this economy is dying. They know sh** is gonna hit the fan soon. I predict they are getting ready for election, banking fallout. The way this country is being ran into the ground right now is asking for a civil war. Hell, we have a FEMA camp just up the road 20 miles. The company I work for did the heating & plumbing for it and yes, they did have gas lines ran in the ceilings. So, take that for what you want. I am all over gov't conspiracies. My son is as well. Have you ever listened to Muse? They are too. All their songs are about the shi**y gov't lying to us and taking away our freedoms. People are buying guns like crazy right now. But if there is some kind of faux ammo shortage those guns will be worthless. Look up David Mustaine of Megadeth. See what he says about all this. I read it all the time too. I think preppers are the smart ones, but, I can't live my whole life like that. I'm too old. I do have guns, some ammo and a little food stored. I hate the government and I know they are trying to kill us off to control us better. They've been doing it since the 50's for sure. The shit may hit the fan in my lifetime. I just can't get excited about it, past getting through to garden time.
Want to mention bankers? Bankers make pretend money based on gold they don't have. We borrow it and they raise loans. Then they take our property and they end up with real land while we owe pretend money. I know why people are pissed. Little people are just the fall out on big schemes. Power and control.

Much smaller than it is now. By vaccinating those black children in Africa he may well be sterilizing them. Of that I have no doubt. Those men want to rule the rule planet, and they do own a pretty good piece of it. They have the cash to do what they want too. We have stockpiles too. Water is a biggy. Store lots of water. One day it will be worth more than gold!! The chemtrails in the damn sky are poisoning us and we can't do a thing about it. Poisons our crops, water supplies and the ground. Don't even get me started on the GMO Momsanto seeds!!

*Monsanto...I was on a roll. Got kinda excited. This sh** is a huge deal. But alot of people are ostrich's and don't pay any attention. Hide their heads in the sand & pretend everything is hunky dory. Not even. It's ON after November. Scares me actually. We have no idea whats coming. It's gradual but final. Like the healthcare thing. Now they will seize your tax refunds & bank acct's if you don't buy insurance. Hell! Obama already bailed out big insurance, now hes forcing us to buy their products? Now they can make it any price they want. My boss said the gov't fine would be cheaper for him than keeping medical insurance on us employees. We are all eff'd.
I know. I know. Sterilization products are in all US prepared foods. You betcha. That's why there's fertility clinics now.
Water is my main worry. Good well digging ground here. All property here had wells in the old days.
We are on a well too. Hopefully nobody would ever seize control of or taint it, but we don't know. Water will be the thing, not money or diamonds. Water. Food is second to water even. Money, thrown into the streets.

Our well only works if we have electricity, so we are looking into solar powered home made generators. Cheap to make. We can cook , bake, stay warm, heat our water and survive , if the sun shines and we have the proper tools.

You could put a secondary hand pump in. I had one at the farm. The well on electric ran the house water. But, in a pinch, I could go out to the garden and pump it. Get one at antique stores.
Solar is the bomb. Wish I could afford to put it in.
Or find one at an abandoned house and ask to buy it. Most people would give it to you here.
This scares the hell out of me. I'm an ostrich for sure. I would b so unprepared if something "big" happened. How would you stoer water? I would imagine well water wouldn't b so safe? I guss it depends where u live.
You find sterilzing techniques on you tube and also, you can order the sterilizing pills to drop in it. It can be done with plain old charcoal from a camp fire though. Rain barrels are a good option for someone like me. Many people store bottled water. I only use distilled water. I only live a few blocks from a good sized river though. So, I doubt we'd die of dehydration. It would be a pain in my bung not to have enough to flush the toady though. You should check out some vids. You can find water sources in nature even in desert conditions if you know how to look. Dew catching is really smart. Trees can be tapped. Even some cacti.
I'm a nerd and I think learning this stuff is good fun.
I grew up prepping. I remember my mom checking the stores in the closet and checking the little battery-operated radio during the Cuban missile crisis.
My dad made special shelves all the way up to the ceiling in parts of the house, and we had them loaded with stuff like flour, sugar, etc. just in case.
Ever since I got married, I've done it, too, though in the last few years my prepping has really intensified, and I have expanded those efforts into areas that we had never entered before.
I think it's not wise to discuss all the bits and pieces online, or even with people you don't know well (for myself, not dictating what anyone else should do). But the wise thing is to prepare while you can. Do whatever you can manage, because I really believe worse times are coming.
I think you grew up good. Everyone should be a bit prepped. What if there was a bad storm or somehing? We have lost power for days..not fun. The Mormons know a lot about food storage and I have learned much from their vids. They have a church rule, store enough food for a year. The ladies are creative.
Last night I watched a Mormon mom can raw milk. I never thought of that. I have frozen milk.
I bought their LDS Preparedness Manual. It has a lot of good information.
I should get it.
