Ehh, dead frog

A Londoner found a frog in her Tesco packaged spinach salad. She's the second one who's found a frog in it. I was like, so? A dead frog would be the healthiest thing in bagged salad. When you buy bagged salad, you are buying bagged feces. Literally. All you have to do it open it and take a whiff. It ALWAYS smells like the bottom of your garbage can because it's filthy stuff. Last week I bought a head of lettuce and found a dozen bees in the outside leaves. I tore them off, tossed them and washed the lettuce. I felt no need to call the media even though it's the second time I've bought bee lettuce. Just eat the damn frog or throw it away. I can't believe anyone anywhere still buys salad in a bag. Hot house of poop, is what that is.

That literally gags me! I am tempted sometimes to buy it, it's so easy, but nope. Where is this sh** made and bagged? Yuck. That sh** rots the next day too, it's already old when you buy it. I would report that. The bees thing is strange. Poor things. Monday I came home from work and walked into my house, almost fainted from the smell of death. My husband had cooked an entire head of cabbge and eaten it. He grew it, so he wanted to eat it. But P-U! The smell was not gone till the next day. I like it sometimes, especially in cabbage rolls. But he simmered it all afternoon on the stove. Gawd almighty. I thot something died in my house! This frog is still worse.

I really wish you hadn't posted this. I buy the single serving bags for less than a dollar. If I buy everything I need for a good salad, a lot of it goes bad before I can eat it. I like a salad with everything in it. But I hate thinking about what is in the bags.

Maybe I should have put the Dole info here. I do buy their salad.

I haven't bought bagged salad in a long time because every time there is some sort of lettuce ecoli recall - it seems to be the bagged variety or a salad kit. I use my salad spinner alot more now.
