Kathy Bates says she's back. Back from where, I was thinking? Kathy had cancer and unlike 99% of Hollywood told no one until it was over. She had double mastectomies and says she doesn't have to do chemo or radiation. She also said she doesn't miss her breasts as much as Harry's Law and that her family calls her Kat because she always lands on her feet. A double mastectomy has got to be rough. I've heard the recovery is difficult and painful. She's already a survivor of ovarian cancer. I think she's one of the best and brightest and I'm glad she's doing well.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this woman. She's fabulous. She's never made a bad movie, if you don't count Adam Sandler's "Waterboy"...but she was funny in it. It was just a stupid movie. She's awesome and many more years of happiness and success to her! I don't blame her for cutting off both. Kelly Bundy..whats her name, did that too. When you have to, thats all you can do. But it is very major surgery. Poor thing. I hate that for her. They are just boobs, totally replaceable.

much respect to her for not making a spectacle of her cancer, surgery, etc which almost seems the 'norm' nowadays......christina applegate is her name rox!!
I love Kathy Bates, and repsect her as an actress and even more as a person. We do not have to know EVERYTHING about celebrities. Classy dame.
I love everything she is in. I thought Harry's Law was a very good show. She is a classy lady.
Thats right! Thanks Tia. I can never remember her name. She was very young when she had that done. But thank gawd! She was married to that prick guy from That Thing You Do, he played Jimmy, and they divorced right before or right after her surgery. He said she cheated while on Broadway. He seems like a dick, she probably did. Her career is fine. What ever happened to him? LOL
