HERE to read the article which includes an interview with Kelsey Grammer in which he was asked if there were things he regrets. He responded, "Ooh, boy. There is a ton of things actually that I do regret but I can’t spend my life apologizing." Really, Mr. Big Shot? How about you apologise to your ex Camille for those things, because you never have. And you could apologise to your children. And while your at it, you could apologise to your current wife for hiding her and making her an acomplice to your regrettable handling of the end of your marriage to Camille. You say you were 'giving her a moment' at that Tony Awards party?? Like some parting gift?? I am astounded. If you had been honest with her, Camille never would have been so arrogant and unlikable on the first season of Real Housewives. YOU encouraged her to do that show. She would never have bragged about her perfect marriage to her rich, famous and talented husband constantly if she had known you were living with another woman in NY while she was home raising your children. All the money in the world doesn't make up for the humiliation that was caught on camera in NYC for the country to view when Camille realized that the worst problem she had wasn't choosing her gown for the Tonys. You made sure people hated Camille that first season, you knew she'd come off as arrogant. Your mistake was that you kept talking after the fact. You kept dogging her even after you ruined her and got what you wanted. You let the viewers know, without a doubt, that you set her up. That mistake allowed Camille to eat some dirt in public and come back from it all. Guess what, Mr. Tony Award Winner? Now we like Camille and feel nothing but sympathy for her and we think YOU are the supreme manipulative asshole. It's too late to apologise, not that you would. You're a jerk. No woman should be subjected to you. Not even for $50 million dollars.

In 2003 The Kid worked for a show that he was an executive producer on. Kid met him once. If I remember correctly the comment was "arrogant asshole".
I never could see how he wound up with someone like Camille. Of course I barely know anything about them but I saw a special about their lives together once many years ago. They seemed like a mismatch. But I didn't like her at all. She was phony and artificial and they didn't seem to understand each other.
He probably is arrogant in some ways but I still like him. He's very bright, (though as a Republican, he's not bright enough to be Democrat), he's a brilliant actor and he's open and honest about his feelings.
People who are honest about their flaws always get 10 times the scorn heaped on them than people who pretend they have no warts. Once the dimwitted public sees a willing target, they fire criticism at it, as if they have the right to do so. But the dimwitted public doesn't know how to deal with the deniers and the honest ones are such easy targets.
I'm convinced Camille would be impossible to live with - empty, fake, needy, vengeful and common. If he stayed too many years with such a wife, well, it's a mistake a lot of people make and they do it as long as they can stand it for their kids.
It's not just Camille. It's the type of person she is that I wouldn't want to spend any time with. Kayte seems like a very different type and I don't blame him for wanting to jump ship. Time will tell how they do together. If he still has drug/alcohol issues, she may get fed up and dump him at some point. I couldn't stand that, either.
He seems the object of hate to a lot of people, but he's one celeb I don't mind.
I have never been able to watch any of his shows beyond a few minutes. The arrogance and pomposity emanate from him. I just can't watch him at all.
