Madonna's bathroom

I just clicked another 'celebrity home' article on Radar. They suck me in every time. I have never passed one up, I'm sick that way. Usually I crow about what bad taste rich people have. Jen Aniston's new home looks like a $21 million dollar gas station. But, look at Madonna's NYC bathroom. Sigh. I love that room. When I win the lottery, I am having a bathroom just like that. Only mine won't need two sinks because I will be so rich I will never have to share it. In fact, no one will ever see it but me. It will have locks on the door too. And I'd paint that dumb bench white and cover it with something light and fluffy for my bum and I'd sit right there and admire my private bathroom. I'm sure she has a seperate shower in there. That's how rich people roll. They have a shower AND a tub. Not a tub with a lame shower IN it. There is no such thing as exposed pipes, formica and rust stains in Madonna's world. The rest of the place is pretty nice too. I even like the kitchen. HERE are the other pics. A little paint would fix that piano room. I'd paint the damn piano too. Actually, I'd tell her to take her piano with her. It's too big. An old upright would suit the room better. I still wonder, as always, where rich people keep their junk?

those sinks look like school bathroom sinks.....at least the floor doesn't look highly glossy....ever notice that about celeb home pix? i am always bewildered about bathroom floors with the marble floors that are glossy/slippery as hell---it's a BATHROOM!!!!! where's the practicality??? you want an usable room or a show room? oh wait, you're a 'star'...carry on then.....

i don't think they 'have' junk....wait, don't they usually have apartments over the garage? that's where their junk is.....

I wonder why there's no warm throw rugs? Slippery floors with no fluffy rugs. I like the sinks though. I love the arches in the wall. I want it.

That's a coincidence. I saved this shot of her bathroom the other day, in a file for outstanding/inspiring architecture. I love old stuff, classics, timeless, enduring architecture and I love white marble. It's nice to dream sometimes.
