I've looked at Hieronymus Bosch's 'Garden Of Earthy Delight's' a hundred times (at least), and like many, I have wondered briefly about the musical notes on one of the tortured sinner's behinds, but, not being able to read music, I quickly forgot about it. But, someone took the time to figure it out. HERE is the Butt Song From Hell, if you're inclined to listen. Hmmm. I am now inclined to think Bosch was as good at music as he was at painting. You can take that any way you want.
Boy, she sure does have a long finger!
ReplyDeleteTotally OT...Remember when we talked about not seeing the color of a person? Well, I guess our local Popo is trying to prove they are color blind. There is a man missing in our little town. This is the discription given... He is about 5'6" and about 150 lbs. He could be wearing a black jacket. No race, no age, no picture, no identifying marks. We have really good detectives in our little town.
ReplyDeleteVery cool. As many times as I've looked at that picture, I've never noticed the 'butt notes'. There is just too much going on in the picture. Sent the link on to The Kid, see if she ever noticed it.
ReplyDeleteGa, the Butt song was kinda pretty and sad. Not what I expected.
ReplyDeleteKinna like his painting career.
