Casey J and Dan the Man have officially been together for 14 years now! Good grief, I didn't realize it had been that long. Congrats, I love you both so much. I couldn't ask for a sweeter daughter and I couldn't have found a husband for her who's more like me in personality. Take that as you will, but, I meant it in a good way. He could seriously be my bio kid and I feel like he is. Send me a pic of you and Dan when you were 16. I can't find one here. (Don't make me look through all this clutter).
You need a photo with the entire 'fambily', even Trinity, the three legged Lizard.

Oh, thank you! You're a good daughter. Aww. Yep. A family pic, mostly 'cause I'd like to see you guys get all those animals to hold still at once. Heh heh.
PS..remember the first time you asked if Dan could spend the night and I said, no? LOL. I always worried that Dan thought it was because I didn't like him. But, I did like him from the getgo. I said no because I thought you'd turn out like me at that age and it would be a revolving door. (Laughing here) I should have known you had better standards. I guess the age of 'make love not war' is over.
Wow, 14 years! I'm nearly 50 and have never had a relationship that long- except with my kids. These two are a really good looking couple, I hope my daughter has such luck to find a good partner early on.

They seem to really compliment each other. The two of you seems to have such a great connection to each other - beyond the mother daughter thing. Very special!
She's my friend. I never thought about it before, but, every kid is different. I always hung out with her, even when she was a little thing. Not that I didn't spend tons of time with Eric and now Alissa, but, I was mom to Eric and Grandma to Lis. With Casey it was always different. She has always been my friend as well as my daughter. I don't know why. It's just the way she is. She's different than my others. Strange to think about.
:-) we always derm to have such great times. Weather we were finding secret beaches, walking thru cemeteries. singing together while you played the guitar, planting flowers, having a photo shoot or watching movies! I love the time I get to spend with you.

Thanks anon, she IS pretty, but, it's her heart that attracts people. We always say Casey was born with extra heart.
Aww, Case, thanks for reminding me. Maybe part of it is, you were my first child that wasn't just mine. I had to share you, so our time was always special. But, you were the sweetest child and we always got along so well. I loved hanging out with you. Still do.
