Pregnancy/Fertility spell for the blood Moon

I know some of you will be asking about the blood Moon tonight and a fertility spell, so I'm going to do my best here and now. HERE is a lovely one. HERE is another one that looks nice. I do not recommend that you follow these spells exactly, it should be YOUR spell, that you come up with. It should be personal.

If you need the name of a fertility Goddess, I suggest Ostara, since Easter/Ostara is so close right now. But, you may use any you like, including Mary mother of Jesus. It is symbolic. Nothing more. All spells are symbolic. If you are out of patchouli oil, (or any other oil the spell calls for) just substitute something that has a 'motherly' meaning to you. It may be as simple as Olive oil or Avon cologne. Do, take a ritual bath before you start. Use any soaps or oils you want. It is only important from the point of respect. You need to be clean. That's all.

Awknowledge the four directions and the Elementals. No matter what religion you practice, (or none), this is important. Again, respect for the Earth. Simply bow to them and welcome them. Gifts are optional. Be sure and give back to the Earth. A simple handful of soil shows respect. Planting a seed would be even better. Requests on paper, burned in fire or buried in the Earth make things clear. As do clear words. A baby symbol seems to be needed here to help you concentrate on what you most want. Yes, an old baby blanket of yours would be great, but, so would a baby photo cut out of a magazine. Or a cute pair of booties. Anything that says 'baby' to you. Optional also, but, I would use it if I had it..menstrual blood. It is a powerful symbol of magic related to the Moon, a personal offering. Candles are a good idea. Pink and blue for the hope of a baby and a green or white one to make a group of three. Three represents the trinity, mother, maiden, crone. Green is for the earth, white is spiritual and a mind clearer. It helps you concentrate. But, you know what? If you can only find one old birthday candle in the kitchen junk drawer, that's okay. It really is the thought that counts here. Rituals help YOU to concentrate. There is no magic in things. Anyone who tells you there is, is lying to you.

Magic comes from within YOU. It is a request from you to the energy of the Universe, the energy that is all around us and that is all that is needed. Find your own symbols and words. Things that are meaningful to you. Spells work because of energy and the clarity and intent of the person asking. They DO work. You are simply changing the energy, or the direction of the energy. That's all there is to it, really.
