Did you not get that when I sent you his fucking death certificate? Yes, I did send you his social security number as well. Seven times, in fact. Do you want it again? Do you need yet another copy of his death certificate? How hard has your 'extensive' search been? How good are your 'multiple sources'? One phone call to the number I provided you seven fucking times would have done it. It would have solved this mystery. I repeat...ERIC HARBIN IS FUCKING DEAD. Cut, you would not believe this shit. For the last year this shit comes in the mail three times a week. I also get tons of DHS mail threatening my benifits and Lissa's because they can not figure out that THEY gave custody back to her mom. They have fucked my food stamps, my medicaide, my medicare and more..all because they're stupid. I had to go to TWO court hearings in the last year all because of their stupid mis-filings. I hate the fuck out of all of them. They're idiots.
This one is bad..it could affect Lissa's SSI, college grants and more.

Crimeny Pat! That's unforgivably stupid and ridiculous. I'm so sorry those morons won't stop causing you such needless pain. Sometimes local news channels have those "on your side" reporters that take on lunacy such as this. An advocate to shine a spotlight on this might help.
Government employees seem to run amuck and never lose thier jobs.
I think our government has reached critical mass. Obviously none of those employees know what they are doing. A lawsuit for harassment needs to be filed, really. No-one should be subjected to something so hurtful (repeatedly, yet) just because of incompetence. It is disgusting that you have had to send them so many death certificates.
This is just so hard for me to comprehend how this can happen. How can people who are so simple-minded as to do this, remain employed, with the guarantee of a nice pension? I just don't understand why people who do this still have a job.
I hope that they get their crap together so that Lissa isn't hurt by this.

The comment about the action line at a TV station may be your answer. I'd call them all. It certainly can't hurt.
The only other thing I can think of is to send a pic of Eric's tombstone. Maybe the shock of seeing this would leave a mark in someone's brain----assuming they have a brain. Is there an office anywhere that you can go to?

Shouldn't Lis' mother be dealing with her daughters affairs? I've got a stupid bureaucratic problem here too involving them trying to hassell me into meeting with them to address my so called obligation to find a job (I volunteer instead) just weeks before I become eligible for an old age pension. It involves getting up early enough to be the first person to call when their offices open (8am), going through several recorded menus, keying in half a dozen passwords and waiting on hold for up to an hour before actually speaking to someone and telling them that there really isn't any point in dragging me into their offices for a meeting about work just weeks before I become eligible for an old age pension. But that pales into insignificance compared to what they are doing to you. I can't imagine where your stress levels must be. Maybe a letter to Obama? Refusing to eat until they do their jobs properly? Setting yourself on fire? I do think it could go global as a news item. Try contacting The Daily Mail they will fall over themselves for your exclusive. Go for it!
Ugh - that is terrible, Pat. I have had that happen too (the whole I have told your department my kid is dead and they 'forget'). it is frustrating as f*ck, emotionally and physically. xx

Oh, this is just the tip of the state iceburg. It's the Titanic. They have me mixed up with Lis in the files and have mistakenley deleted programs I need for medical. I had a hearing, a judge ruled for me, called it ridiculous, and they still don't get it. It's a court order! Fercristsakes!
