Sign posted near a public park in London. Oh, my. Ohhhh, my. I have no idea who posted it and neither do authorities. It's been taken down after a battle nearly broke out. People were seriously pissed. When I talk to or read about people in the UK, most of them are infuriated at the large number of Islamics in their country and the ramifications of this. Like, this sign, the dress, their restrictions and the Halol meat being sold to everyone. I live in Midwestern USA farm country, so I deal with very little of this. But, I wonder what your take on it is? Are Islamics trying to take over or are they just taking advantage of other countries freedom of religion laws? Here, it's Christians trying desperately to keep their hold on everyone else. They're slowly losing the battle, but, that's another post. I just wondered what you all think of this stuff. Not trying to start a war or bash Muslims.
BTW, I had a Muslim net bf before (judge all you want, he was awesome) and he LOVED dogs. He just couldn't own one because he couldn't touch them. It would have made his hands spiritually dirty. The more I learned about his Islamic ways, the more I understood that our differences could not be overcome with any amount of open mindedness.

It's not just Muslim Arabs that generally don't like dogs, it's Christian Arabs as well. Just not common in that part of the world to own a dog as a pet. My sister's husband is Christian/Palestinian and they have a golden retriever, bought for hunting, but he's scared of ducks haha, so he's a house dog now. They bought a king size bed so the dog could sleep with them.
There are absolutely huge amounts of Muslims in Alberta, tons. I just counted 11 mosques on my city's website but I seem to think there's more. They have Muslim ladies-only times at gyms and pools so the sisters can go without men. If you want a doctor in this city, odds are you will see a Muslim doctor (family doctor or specialists). We have female Muslim police officers too, some people are pissed off about that because they wear a sleek hijab under their police/Mountie hat...I couldn't care less. Whatever...I don't want to do that job, so why should I care?
Oh, and I work for Muslim doctors...they are the best guys to work for. My kids are sick, I just leave. I need a day off, I just take it. They tell me 'Merry Christmas' and give me a Christmas bonus. They wash their own dishes in the kitchen. They're great :)
I had a christian surgeon who used to be Muslim. He was awesome, but, he came in and prayed over me before the surgery. I told him, feel free, but, I don't pray. I'm pagan. He seemed shocked, like he thought all Americans were christian. I don't have much experience with Muslim people. I think I tend to ask too many questions.
I don't like the religion. Anything that demands attention five times a day sounds like a cult to me. Not to mention the fact that women need to be covered head to to and are regularly stoned to death because they got raped or are getting an education. Seriously, it does my head in. My son regularly berates me for stereo typing and being racist but seriously.... child marriages, genital mutation, chopping off hands, death by hanging for marrying a Christian? No fucking thanks! Everytime I see a woman dressed in black with only eyes showing I cringe. It's weird, sinister, creepy and an affront on my feminist beliefs. It should e banned, all of it, fuck religion!!!!
The most vicious, violent, murderous religion, on earth. That's why there has never been peace in the Middle East. And UK allowed them to overflow into their country. So now they must deal with the take over. They have declared they will be taking over the entire planet soon and we will all have to deal with it. I have seen their hateful decrees. They hate everyone that's not a Muslim. They should not shove their faith down anyone's throat, like the JWs shouldn't , nobody should. But they kill you if you say shit about it. They migrate in clusters. Then spread out. They have formed large communities in Minnesota. They tried to get all the road signs changed over to their language in one small town, but the citizens called BS. Didn't happen. They do intend to take over everywhere. It may be what starts another world war. They already have grocery stores and chain restaurants bowing to their food laws. F Subway. We like ham and bacon here. Ya know? It's pretty sad when Muslims have more protections & rights than the citizens of a country they happen to live in. JMO. C'mon. Bring on the haters. I can handle it. I stand by my words and I held back.
