This freaked my ass out. Michelle Duggar is seeing a fertility doctor to find out if she can 'catch' another baby from 'god'. I don't even want to deal with all the stupidity in that sentence. This woman is not smart. If you listen to her talk, you know that. She may be, umm, a tiny bit 'special'. For real. She is also 47 years old and has 19 living children. Technically, she has given birth 20 times and I don't know how many miscarriages.
Okay, we all know I'm slow at spotting the dangerous crazy, because I think everybody has some kind of crazy. Everyone. But, it finally occurred to me that Michelle is just like those women who refuse to age and get addicted to plastic surgery, Botox and liposuction until they barely resemble a human being. Only Michelle doesn't care about her looks, her clothes and hair should tell us that. What she cares about is believing her poor uterus can still carry and shove out babies like it did when it was 20. She just refuses to face the fact that her uterus is old. It's old and tired. Her ovaries are gathering dust. If you could Botox your ovaries, Michelle would have done it by now. Even when the doctor tells her that at her age the chances of having a Down's Syndrome child are probably one in four or five (scary) she blows him off.
I just think she's crazy and not in a good way. She needs help. Michelle is a great example of people who get sucked into cults very easily. She probably should be tested, an IQ test, I mean, so that a court could step in and help her. I've listened to her. She reminds me of my mother. She's a person who can pass as average, normal. But, she isn't. Not in any way, shape or form. She thinks dinosaurs roamed with humans, the Earth is 500 years old and you catch babies from god. This woman home schools her children! It isn't right. None of this is right. She has a good chance of dying if she tries to carry another baby, yet old Jim Boob isn't done trying to prove his manhood and devotion to his god by letting Michelle ride his old prune-pickle bareback. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed either, but, he knows what's up. He should be taking care of her and discouraging this pregnancy addiction she has. They have little ones and they have grandkids now. That should be enough. This whole story makes me feel sick. The stupid are trying to take over the world. Their numbers keep growing. As long as there are women like Michelle Duggar out there, the cults will keep choosing them. So, special, isn't it? The chosen ones.

How on earth is it 'leaving it in God's hands' if you are going to a specialist? It's time to let it go. When you think of all the things that could go wrong: 19 babies could lose their mother, and the 20th could die or be born with awful birth defects. Sometimes I think religion just makes people stupid. Did she ever have common sense??
Susan, the 20th already died from prematuratity and the 19 has serious problems from the same thing. It's scary.
She's addicted to pregnancy, birth and new babies and the attention it brings her has grown and festered with each one. Then when the baby is born it's a shiny new toy for a while then quickly pushed off for a Duggar girl to raise.
You are so right. I HATE what she does to those girls. No one should raise a 'buddy'. Ask Alissa, I swear that's one habit we're all trying to break now. She just can't understand that she's not Gabe's caretaker.

Yeah, if you listen to her, you cringe from the stupidity that she's passing on to her children.
Having a baby insures their show won't be cancelled, = $$$$. And that's what it's all about. They have 2 engaged now I believe. So they need a baby to add to the pile. Even the Little People Big World are getting shows for their boys engagements and weddings coming up. Having that show destroyed that family and made Matt into a drunk.
They will soon have more kids having kids, so she doesn't need a baby of her own to keep the show. I find her older children's stories much more interesting than another damn pregnancy. I keep hoping one of the girls will revolt from the cult! That alone keeps me watching.
ps..I don't like LP/BW. I like Amy, but, I hate those awful kids.

I think she was a normal person until some time after she married Boob and caught these strange beliefs. Now I'm sure she is mentally deficient. The doctor gives her the stats on birth defects and her life, and she doesn't HEAR him. She looks, nods her head, smiles, and never inputs the words. To think of deliberately putting yourself in a position to die when you have 19 kids, or bringing into the world a child who has a high probability of having serious health issues that will cause pain and difficulties as well as meaning the older kids will get the kid for life, is to be ok with inflicting great pain on a helpless infant. If she's not crazy, she's cruel beyond belief. I still say she just doesn't hear and internalize anything.
I think she stayed pregnant because it kept her the center of attention. And if she stops having kids, she won't matter anymore. She is absolutely brain damaged!!!!
And if she is so religious, why doesn't she accept that this is how her god wants it. She is an ass.

I thought this was an old, old news clip, until I got into it. She is really, still wanting to have babies. That is sad. Sad for the whole family, though they probably don't understand. She is very definitely putting her health, and her family at risk.
If she does lose her life, trying to have another baby, Jim Bob will probably just find a younger version of her to have more with.
