Have you ever watched Dexter and started wondering about yourself? I mean, sometimes Dexter makes total sense to me and the so called normal people around him seem to be the fucked up ones. I guess I don't worry too much, because I don't kill people (yet), so, I could happily live next door to Dexter. Even knowing what he is. I really could..and that in itself makes me wonder what's wrong with me? Also, his lack of emotion doesn't seem that odd to me. I find constant emotions to be distracting and distasteful. Best saved for real problems or losses. People have called me cold and I understand their judgements. But, I know I'm not really, I just have no patience for people who cry over every little thing or who hold funerals for gold fish past the age of four. I am definitely NOT who you want to invite to see a movie like The Notebook, because I will laugh at you and make farting noises all the way through it.

It's a little hard to answer truthfully to some of the questions, I'll admit that. But, maybe the fact that I decided not to lie to myself was a plus in favor of not being a psychopath? Hmm. Or am I one because of the truths??

Not a psychopath. I didn't score one single item. On the sociopath scale they rated me at 8 %. They said I was not at all a sociopath but am loyal, introspective, etc.

I didn't stay on the pages after quickly answering questions, so missed all the goodie stuff the other test takers saw. That is the problem with me, just slap dash something out and then don't take the time to go any further. An appalling lack of curiosity, perhaps. Or a general disbelief that a test could capture a spirit such as me.

Ok.. I got an 8 on the first one, and it says I'm antisocial on the second. No big news there.
And I love Dexter, though I had to turn away from his early animal abuse. I can take people abuse, but animal abuse will give me nightmares. Inclding Dumbo And most any Disney film.

I knew from the first few questions I would rate very low on the psychopath scale, so I didn't bother finishing them. I would have had very different answers when I was younger, but still not psychopathic.
The problem is the self-reporting. I don't know a single fucked up asshole who doesn't think they're Jesus incarnate.

I watched it for a while. It was disturbing to me. I dunno. I liked it. Then stopped watching. He did all that insane stuff, then went home to his lovely family. It's so bizarre. We actually had a case just like that here in our area a few years ago. The wife even went on Oprah and was still supporting her insane husband, even tho he was dead , by his own hand and they found the bodies all over their mansions back yard. F'g creepy as heck! Right by us! No way could I live next to that and know about it. His deal was, he'd go "cruising" the Indianapolis gay scene, the bars, clubs, pick up a young man and take him to a hotel or to their house, depending on who was home. He'd have sex with them, and he'd use S&M stuff with them, and kill them with ligatures. Choking them during sex. He would bury them in their back yard, where his kids played. Parts here and there. He even killed some in their hot tub at their house. His wife said he was not guilty or gay. She was nuts too! On Oprah she was so weird and in denial. But we can be driving down the interstate and a car passing by us could have a dead body in the trunk. We have no idea. Dexter just away with it because he was good looking. Lol.

But I do like to watch Bones. It's interesting. And my kids used to be scared because when they were little I was always reading about a serial killer. That's all I checked out at the library. And it scared them. I didn't know that till later, when they got older and told me. I just find it interesting. Like, what's in this persons mind that makes them do that? What do the victims have in common. There are wen sites for the subject too. One was an appalling man back in the early 20th century century in England. He'd kidnap and kill small boys and eat them. When he described how he couldn't eat a testicle because it was too chewy, I puked. But I read the book, sick f'g bastards. How in the hell do they get up and go to work every day? But they do! You never know who you know! Ya know?

Very interesting reading your results. I feel better now. I got that I have tendencies of both. But, I thought some of the questions were unfair or ambiguous. I took about 10 tests. At least I never got one that said I am psycho or socio. Just tendencies. I also think, know, that many psychopaths never break the law in any way and are not dangerous. We only hear about the ones who are.
