Rain and no yard sales

I got up at 6 am and it's raining cats and dogs. Wow. It's always something in Iowa, we never get a break. My plants are now drowning. I have extra drain holes drilled in every container, but, they're still to the top with water. They can't drain it fast enough. I've been running around emptying the ones I can lift and putting them under porches. I'm bound to lose some this year. I give up.

The girls went back to sleep and man, that is a blessing. The little smart alecks stayed up until 3am!!! I am not kidding. I almost couldn't outlast them and that is dangerous! Can you imagine them with no supervision? I wouldn't have had a house left. I barely do now. And THEN, they were up at 6am bugging me to set up their yard sale! I could not believe it. But, blessed be, it poured and they gave up and went upstairs to giggle and fell fast asleep, the both of them. Hallelujah!

I get a free GD minute without jibber jabber in my ears. I have two readings today, so I went over to see if Tuwella is acting sane today and she's much better. Like a normal person today. (Seniles are like that.) Which means I don't have to take these kids and I can have lunch with my friend Cindy! Damn. Seriously. I need, just like, an hour or so with a sane adult and I'll be okay. Cindy is so cool too, she's a healer and she's the real deal. I love her and it will be so good to see her. I hope you guys have a great day too, no matter what the weather is!

PS..get this..that red can says "Tips. Donations to children's hospital" (or some shit like that) and the kids came up with that. But, it was a scam! Trolls will love that. I told them it's illegal and the police would come and put them in jail. They tried to fib their way out of it, but, I totally heard them plotting this scam. Jebus christ. I see prison in their future. Or televangelisim. Rotten turds. Autumn looks and sounds so polite and sweet, but, she'll go right along gleefully with any evil plan of Alissa's. You have to watch them every freekin' second. I am telling you. I need an hour or so...so bad.

PPS, they also made a sign to point at Tuwella's house that said, "Back Stabber". LMAO!

A miracle has happened here. Alissa went to another cousin's house for an overnight BD party and Autumn's dad came home so I packed her up. I have the entire night....free.

The bad part is, Lis packed when I wasn't here, so she probably packed all ho-clothes and no underwear AND she forgot the present. Way to make me look like an A-hole.

But, I had a great lunch with my friend and it was SO fucking good to see her. We have to get together more often.

Meissa are you the dancer that used to comment a while back? If so, I'm glad you're back. I found you to be very interesting. And you have a backhoe, too. (I envy you having a backhoe.)

Wow. I love the vibrant green in that picture. It's green here, but looks different to me. We do have rain like that periodically. I see the flooding in the cemetery next door sometimes, but it's not the usual.
I'm glad that you are getting a little time to yourself. As cute as those girls are, and as well as they play together, it takes a lot of energy to mind them.
The weather has been nice here. A little bit of cool, a little bit of warm, a little breeze, a few clouds, sometimes a little rain. I can't complain about any of it. The last time I posted that the weather was great. . . I went outside and the sky had opened up. It poured. Oh, well. . . it'll help things grow, but never with the vigor that things grow in Iowa. Your gardens always amaze me.

Christina, things here have been continually damaged and destroyed, but, it's Iowa and it really is a regenerative jungle. It's strange. I would love to see pics of that grave yard if you get a chance.

And yes, the kids are adorable, but, grinding too.
