Gwyneth Paltrow has become quite vocal in her support of ideas found in a book called 'Cure Your Child With Food'. The book's focus is the idea that food given or withheld can bridge the gap between prescribed medicine and medical diets. Which sounds like a whole different idea than the spin Goop is taking on it. Goop seems to think every childhood ailment from ear infection to 'failure to thrive' can be treated or remedied with food choices. It's all weird and you can read more HERE. Not that the DM is a reliable source, but, it give you a place to start, if you're curious.
I think it's clear to all of us by now that Gwyneth Paltrow has some kind of problem with food..all food. The woman is obsessed with what goes in and what comes out and that obsession is spilling over into her children's diet. Which she controls. It's all about control when it comes to food issues. She's also been criticized lately for thinking that water has feelings. That's not the theory. To put it simply, water contains energy. There are people, like me, who believe you can change or direct energy. Water itself, is not an entity. I'm not sure she understands what she's reading. It's like, she reads something, gets an interest in it, but, doesn't explore it fully and then just spouts stuff that sounds crazy. Crazy babble.
If I were Chris Martin, I'd be very concerned with how Goop is feeding my kids. I'd wonder about their medical care. I've taken Lissa to holistic healers, but, I also take her to the doctor. On the GOOP website, someone has pasted excerpts from the book onto her 'help' page. I read it all. HERE it is. It's long and boring and basically just common sense. I don't know why anyone needs this boring book or Goop, for that matter. Lissa can not eat legumes. She can't have a chili dog or she gets sick. Boom. That's all I need to know. She should eat some vegetables every day. Gee, ya think? I didn't need to read for 20 minutes to figure that out. Or to be told that GMO grains are not safe.
I think Goop is just obsessive and more than a little crazy. Maybe she has a Zinc deficiency. Or maybe she should explore some Prozac or an eating disorder clinic. Or maybe I don't care at all, I just feel sorry for her kids. It's hard growing up with a mom who's bat shit crazy. Did I say Bat Shit Crazy? Sorry, what I meant was 'expert in nutrition and medical advice'. Yeah.

Don't worry. I think their father is ok, and let's them eat food. He eats meat now, so he has already thrown her theories away. I heard they are back together, but I don't know if that's true. Honestly, I was hoping he escaped her.
On a side note. I just watched an interview of Mick Jagger with the stars and other producers of the movie "Get On Up", about James Brown. Looks awesome. Mick is so cool. He doesn't tell people what to do or foist his choices into our lives. He's just awesome. A-List Lifetime member. My gawd. He's just still so great. And we got stuck with GOOP? Waaahhh!!!!!!!!!!

She should have some placenta.
You know, I just cannot stand this woman. I think she is just so ugly, nothing pretty about her. Just a small rant this morning.
She is so obsessed with with food and with herself as knowing everything. I have only looked at her site once, but it was clearly meant to help bring the rest of us up to her level. (massive rolling of eyes).
How does one become so deluded and self-important?
I hope that their kids get to have a more normal upbringing, now. The unhealthy preoccupation with food that she must have tried to instill in them. . .

LOL at placenta.
I think she's fug too. I don't get the 'great beauty' thing with her. She looks like a mountain woman from Apalacia. Or my retarded cousins, which is basically the same thing.
I think my brain needs meat to heal itself. Extra protein boost or something, at least that's what my body tells me. So I'll stick with that instead of letting some dingus with the "knowledge of the universe" tell me what I should be doing.
