New junk

There's a real good piece of junk little Kayden got for me out of his dad's junk pile. I gave him two bucks for it and now he thinks he's an entrepreneur and wants to sell me every piece of junk on the place. Sigh. But, this is good junk. Imma pull those electric wires out, flip it upside down and screw it to a pole and set the pole in ground and plant around it. It wiggles in the wind, it's pretty big. I think it will hold a gazing ball in the middle and maybe I can hang bells or wire wrapped glass blobs from it. I can do something with it, anyhow. I like it.

New yard, front side of the house. Or maybe front yard. Not sure about paint. If I leave it black it won't chip.

Chippy paint is the best tho! Let it chip away! And rust. I love it!

That is a very good piece. You wanted to plant a wisteria. I think that might look on that piece.

I've seen people take those old light fixtures and insert solar lights and hang them outside in pergolas and such. A very cool find!

Good idea, Angie, thanks.

Jane, I'll think on that too, but, it might bury it. Wisteria gets so huge. Sure would look pretty hanging from it though. Hmm. I'm still thinking on where to put those wistys. And I have two trumpets to move. It may all be too much, I just love vines so much.

Oh, man, I just had a thought! I could cut just enough tree branches to sun the opposite side of that icky garage and start a couple there. They could take that garage and totally hide it. Now, there's a plan.

It's great that you will not be moving in until next year. You can start lots of things there now, and have some significant growth on your vines by then. Those trumpets take off like nobody's business here, and I know with the Iowa growth season, they will do even better. You are going to have such a cute place!
Was this a light fixture at some point? It is very interesting, and a great find, and I'm sure that you will find a great place for it over there. It's going to be so much fun watching you transform the place.

I think it's a light fixture, but, it's way too big for any Guntown house, so I don't know where it came from. A store maybe?
