Yeah, the show will go on and in the end, the main players will be $90 million dollars richer. Gawd, that's a lot of money. Anyway, go HERE and browse this article on D-listed and tell me why he calls this a 'grandma' show? I don't understand that. But, I'm a grandma and I like it. I don't like it enough to actually know when it's on or what channel, but, if I come across it while clicking, I always stop. I watch the reruns with the kid, it's something we can do together without much effort. I also know a lot of my older friends like it. My mom even watches it. I'd think some of the jokes would go over her head, and I guess they do, but, there's enough simplicity to keep her there. So, it kind of is a 'grandma' show. But, why? Lissa and her friends like it too and do 'which Big Bang character are you' quizes on Face Book. Sheldon seems to be the hands down favorite of everyone. With Penny second.
I guess I just don't understand why this show appeals to old people and kids. Can someone explain it? My mom is someone who has a talking Urkel doll sitting on the tv shelf. She thinks Urkel is hilarious. (Eye roll.) Oh, and why does this show remind me of Three's Company, for some reason?

Honestly!, I was just saying the other day that Penny reminds me of Chrissy on Three's Company because she's sort of dumb & ditsy, but has common sense and can take care of herself. And also is pretty but not SO pretty that she seems unapproachable.
Too funny--great minds I guess!
Never miss it. I love the TBS TBBT marathons, several nights a week. If I'm not watching that, you can count on me watching Modern Family on some channel. Howard is also one of my favorites and Amy Farrah Fowler. Who didn't love her and Howard bonding over Neil Diamond? That was just epic. My husband likes it too. If he knew Jim Parsons was gay, he'd probably stop watching it with me. LOL. Lately I have a crush on Bones too. I am so far behind on that show! Like 9 years! How did I not know? Stupid! Stupid! If Friends got $1M each per show, these guys should have no less. Even Jerry Seinfeld was raking in that much per episode the last season or 2. But not the other cast members. This is an awesome deal for them. And unlike long ago, they will get residuals. They don't ever need to work again! Wow! Good for them. Cuz Chuck Lorre can afford to share the wealth. GD, every show on TV has his name attached to it.
Rox
Sally, maybe that's it. I couldn't nail it. When Chrissy left the show they got that dumb ass Teri, remember? Ukk. What a mistake, they should have just payed Sommers what she was worth. The show went to hell after that.
Rox, Amy Farrah Fowler, Mayim Bialik, is also a fav of mine. I love her face. I first went crazy for her when I saw Beaches and her portrayal of young Bette Milder. OMG, she was so perfect, so talented, so full of bravado and balony! And she belted out that song! That's still one of my favorite performances in a bit part ever.
