I can't with her anymore

I can't with Olivia Wilde anymore. I just can't and I am one of her biggest fans. I love her in everything she does, but, posing with her new baby, Otis, like this? Oh, give me a break. Yes, I wanted to see the baby. No, I didn't need to see all of him..or you. And he peed on her dress. So, even if we were in her home, this would seem uncool to me, because I don't like pee all over people. It's not cool, when you ask for it, like this. I feel like I'm back in the 60's, in some commune. I didn't like it then, and I don't like it now. Call me an old uptight bitch, I don't care. Naked is for private times. Diapers are your friend.

Otis is a very pretty, nice big baby though. HERE is where I got the pic.

It would have been nicer if she was at home in a cozy space, not in some diner photo set.

I can't with her in this photo. It's too much.

It's a stupid picture. Anyone who has ever been around a baby knows that baby will at least pee on her. If that's all the baby did, she is darn lucky. It's also weird to have her breast out in a diner situation. I know I am supposed to be all pro breast feeding, no matter what, but in reality, it still does make for some degree of awkwardness in many situations. There are a lot of coverups available, but covering up is anti the theme of this picture shoot, I guess. It just feels contrived, and doesn't quite make it on some level, if ou know what I mean.

So, she's gonna whip those puppies out in a diner? There is a movement on right now and I don't like it. It's called "Its just a boob". It's private. Not for public. I am not against it, if done discreetly. Usually you don't even know, if the mother has gotten good at disguising it. It's not hard people! I nursed before we'd leave the house and maybe in the car or the restroom where we were. Not in plain view. I am just a very private person and that's me. But no. Nobody wants to see the boobs, ladies. Sorry. If your doing it for the guys, then something is wrong with you! Stop it. Attention whores. And my babies wore clothes and/or diapers. In a proper photo session, she should have been nude too, right? This is weird. It should have been more artsy & soft, subtle. Not pedestrian and cheap.

Finally had to unfriend a FB "friend". Constant shots of her breast feeding shared on-line. And complaints about all the terrible people who gave her a dirty look or said something about her exhibitionist breast feeding in public. Totally uncool. Possibly dangerous. Would not want to be her kid when presented with the pix years from now.

I have known a few women who militantly breastfed in public places, especially restaurants, and it's always been more about the mom than the kid.
They were women who were attention whores BEFORE they got pregnant and at this point they are sick and tired of being invisible for an entire year. It's as if they are saying, "I'm gonna MAKE you look at me, dammit!"

And the other thing is, whatever your opinion is on this, it's just downright rude to choose to do something in public that you KNOW offends people. Especially when you could just as easily do it privately. I would guess that maybe half of all Americans are uncomfortable (in one way or another) around nudity of any kind, so just have some respect for that at least.

& personally, I just don't want to look at "naked". Not even my own! Gross! put it away! :-)

I think if your kid is hungry in a public place, feed him, by all means. But, they make covers. Don't be a spectacle. And no, grown kids do NOT want to see pics of that. It's gross when your grown up.
