Trick or Treat

The only trick or treaters I got all night. Britney Spears and Dangerous Ninja (he stabbed himself with his own sword.) I made a huge basket of special treat bags. All this candy and other treats left over. Gaaaa! Maybe next year will be better when we live closer to the street. I sure have enjoyed seeing all your dressed up kids on Face Book though. They're all just adorable.

I didn't get home until late last night. Almost 9. I did see some very cute little trick or treaters on the way home, though. Your little ones sure look cute and happy. I hope they made a good haul.

It is hit or miss for us every year. We live right around the corner from the busiest trick or treat street. Some years they venture around and I run out of candy and other years, I get stuck. This year I got stuck. My daughter teaches 6th/7th grades, so I think I'll send it with her. I don't need the temptation.

You may have only had two tricksters, but they look pretty darn cute, from what I can see :)

Didn't get many here either. Always either hoards or nobody, no matter where I live. There seems to be more going on in parks and so on now.

Friday night here was football night, so the school had Halloween events at the football field for the kids. My little trickster had a great time. I think it was a good move for the kids.

Well, you got two more trick or treaters than we did. I'm taking candy to work for a year.

We had some ppl get taken hostage and held up by opening their doors to Trick or Treaters. Held at gun point. And some gun point car break ins too. I expect door to door T or T to be outlawed eventually. It's just too GD dangerous now. We live so far out in the country, we've never had a T or T'r. Good! Cuz if I don't know you, you don't get in. And that goes triple if you are wearing a f'g mask! Have Halloween parties. It's more fun anyway. Safer and supervised.

But Thursday night, did any of you hear about the drunk car wreck that killed a woman and the man dragged her dead body into their house, called 9-11 and sat down and drank a beer? That was here! Small farm town Indiana. It even made The Daily Mail. The woman left her husband, who works here where I work and 2 months later she is killed by the new guy. Then y'day my husband see's the creep at the local supermarket! The bastard was drunk in the store, and out driving again. And just killed his GF 4 days earlier! The guy she was married to, came in to get his paycheck y'day and said it's really disturbing because their kids aren't even sad. She left them with nothing but bad feelings. She was a pill popper/drunk. They are in elementary school. I had a hard time finding words of condolence for her. So, I mentioned the kids, then he said, basically, they don't even care! Hell, she left him while they were at a party! Stayed there with the host. 2 mos later, she is dead. His fault. It's insanity. Sorry to rant. Just wanted to share.

Rox, that is bizarre.

Casey, I wish I had a better pic of Lissa's face that night. She thought she was Kesha, but, she looked like a young Britney's double. She looked so much like her, it was startling.
