I still do not know what GOOP even means to her. To me it sounds disgusting. And I cannot afford a gold $4G juicer. So, who even buys from her? She doesn't make anything. She selects things that other companies make. Big deal! At least Martha actually has her own name on her shit. GP is a pretentious asshole-bitch. And she loaned her kitchen oven to Meryl Streep for Thanksgiving. Isn't she just wonderful now?...
I think it's funny that her stupid neon sign has cords showing. In all her gloriousness, could she not come up with a concept light with no cords showing? I'm always hiding cords. This is funny, to me. "Hey GP, you're f'g cord is showing, all over the wall!" LOL And, is she back with Chris Martin and in an open relationship? Why not just get divorced? She's got a boyfriend now, he dates. What's the GD point of staying married? Just money?
I actually really like Martha Stewart stuff. I look for her brand as I have had good experiences with those things. I have a set of plain, plastic tumblers from her collection. They are lightweight, with sides that slope outward, and they came in a stack of four, in graduated colors, from dark orangish red, to lighter, then light orange, and then whitish. I bought them at K-Mart many years ago. Two sets. They were not expensive, but had her name on them. We use them every day, and they go through the dishwasher all the time. I would bet it's been well over 10 years. Not a crack or any other damage to them. She makes sure that the items she puts her name on are of good quality, rather than someone like Goop, who just picks things out that she likes. It's laughable that she wants to be a brand. Christina
Oh, yeah, Martha has great quality stuff. I have a set of Martha sheets I bought so many years ago. Put those sucker thru a wringer washer for years. Still have 'em and they look like new. Soft too. 500 threat count Egypt cotton. I got 'em at a used store, but, they hadn't been opened. Musta been the wrong size for someone else.
If I was Meryl Streep, I would have left Goopy a note thanking her for her oven and told her I cleaned it for her..with chemical oven cleaner spray. LOL. Goop would buy a new one. She'd prolly tear out her whole kitchen or move.
I love Martha's stuff as well, especially some glass bowls with tupperware-type lids I bought at Kmart years ago. I collect her books & have learned a lot from her. Her new show, Martha's cooking school or something like that, is excellent. Gwyneth on the other hand--blech. She is the perfect example of how NOT to live. Or at least of how not to be perceived to live. She's horrid.
So, I miss you, Pat, and hope that everything is okay, and the turkeys are not getting you down, as we used to say. Just wanted to let you know I bought a guitar. I watched Craig's List, and compared with Ebay, and established music instrument companies on the 'net. I got really intimidated. I watched many youtube videos about what is important when considering a guitar purchase, what mistakes people make, etc. In the end, the one thing I knew for sure, was that I had to go to a music or guitar store, and hold and look at lots of guitars. I went to the local Guitar Center, and did exactly that. I had the guys working there advise me, as well as people who came into the store to look at guitars for themselves. I had multiple people play the guitars I was looking at, for me, so I could figure out what sound I liked best. In the end, I got a beautiful guitar, that I love. I've only made minimal stabs at trying to play a few notes, because the sound seems to make our energetic little numbskull, Emma, completely crazy. She wants to paw, jump at and lick at the guitar, and I am so afraid that she will damage it in some way, so I am still figuring out that part. If you were here, or I was there, I would probably have handled it differently, but I didn't know anyone else I could trust, so this is the way it played out. I'm really not sorry, as the end result is beautiful. Christina
Can anyone tell me why no one likes Window 8? My computer is about to bite the dust and I've been looking around. I have no idea what I'm looking at, so I'm reading reviews. Not looking good for Windows 8.
Jane, my computer blew up last year and I had to get windows 8. I have no issues, once you click on the little tile that says desktop you never have to see those stupid tiles on the main page and it is just like my windows xp. I guess my point is windows 8 is OK. lol :)

Gwyneth should go to prison then everyone would respect her.
I'm going to try and make it to her store tomorrow and will report back!
I agree Martha Stewart makes good stuff. Too bad I don't go to K-mart. Makes me want to brave a trip to get a Christmas gift for someone.

Just left Goop. I took pics and am about to email them to you. It was everything we imagined and even more!
Woo Hoo Erin!!! I can't wait!

The wires hanging is just the goop running out on the walls. LMAO.

Rock on Christina! Just think of Emma as being a fledgling groupie. Have a good time.
That thing is on my comments again. Now I have to prove I am not a robot! Really?
Where is Pat? Busy with her new house, I am guessing. Happy Holidays to everyone. Hope all is well.
