Evangeline Lilly: "I’m very proud of being a woman, and as a woman, I don’t even like the word feminism because when I hear that word, I associate it with women trying to pretend to be men, and I’m not interested in trying to pretend to be a man. I don’t want to embrace manhood, I want to embrace my womanhood."
Translation: "I a wee-tahd.''

She's not a woman. She's an elf.

Sounds like somebody is hankering for a coffee klatch with Bill Cosby.
No woman could think that hair was a good idea.
I just wanted to say, while reading that "GD woman, STFU!"
That is all.

Evangeline Lilly:
Shut up.
Sit down.
Is she the chick who was on Lost?
She still is.
its because our society is all about labels and spin- you want to know something Ms. dirty Disher? You inspire me- you are yourself. you have opinions. I have few friends right now, and you are one of them- keep up the good work
The hair is terrible. She really is pretty, but, yikes, that hair.
I never watched Lost, but I really like her as Tauriel, the female elf in the last two Hobbit movies.
Sometimes people really don't have anything to say, but they are under the impression that everyone is hanging on their every word, and they need to say something important. I would put her comments under that heading. Misguided. Nonsensical. Ill-advised. They reflect poorly on her.
There's an old saying that I remember reading in junior high, that I believe applies here..
"It is better to be silent, and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt."

I never watched Lost and was never able to get into the Hobbit thing. (I hate to admit that, but it's true.) So I don't know who she is, but if she doesn't know what feminism is, she's more in the dark than I am.
