Courtney Love may be nuts, but Hole is a great punk band

Talking about Kurt Cobain and not mentioning Courtney Love seems wrong. I don't think he'd like that. I think he loved his wife to the end. You can believe whatever you want, but, I think he loved her. Re-hab is a betraying bitch that ends as many lives as it claims to save. But, Courtney was onstage doing her punk thing before she ever met Kurt. And so, he got dumped by the biggest man bashing unit on Earth (seemed to me) and what's he do then? Falls for a pretty, big mouthed, foul talking, bossy, controlling take charge bitch, called Courtney Love, who has her own punk band. He seemed to have a type, right? And the truth of it is, that band was damn good. Hole is a kick ass band and if you haven't listened to them, you're missing something that might tweak your soul. My favorites are Doll Parts, a creepy, catchy anthem to the way men see a woman. Celebrity Skin cracks me up. And no one should ignore Malibu, haunting and melodic, it stays in your brain.  "Come on be alive again. Don't lay down and die, Hey hey hey." That was recorded after Kurt's death. She said it's about his stay in Malibu rehab, prior to his death. So many re-habs, so little time, eh? It's more commercial sounding than most Hole songs.

Personally, I always liked that Hole was a dirty little secret. They shouldn't have been. They deserved better. But, being Mrs. Nirvana was supposed to be enough. Right? But, then, I know there are Hole fans on here and I know there are also people who have never listened to Hole just because it's Courtney Love and she seemed to lose her marbles for awhile. It is not acceptable for a woman to lose it. We just have too much to do. Anyway, Courtney always had a sense of humor and put it into her songs. Skinny Little Bitch (nasty piece of work) says what we've all thought sometimes. Also, Courtney's lovely little speech to the audience. It's live. Why would someone like her ever need a track? She couldn't give a fuck if she fucked up. Fuck ups are the spice of life. Although most of us would pass on the Heroin and Lucky Charms. Or was it Fruity Pebbles? How soon we forget. Anyway, Kurt said he had to hide them from her after she went to re-hab. They were seriously making her face break out. I guess if you lived on them, they would. It's such a shame she doesn't have him now, to hide her damn computer from her.

HERE is Courtney Love and Hole, unplugged and live back in '95. She ruled that stage. You can't deny it. "I'm Miss World, kill me now"...LMAO! She also plays a damn decent rhythm. We all know Cobain wasn't a guitar master, he was a poet, a songwriter. The best. But, guitar?  Okay, I said, it. Kill me. But, you know it's true. His chops were all testosterone driven drivel, that sounded oddly great, and no on can duplicate. Because he made that shit up. Courtney can actually play. You go, Courtney. Hole is supposed to reunite this year according to a bunch of crap I read. Who knows anymore? Maybe she meant on Twitter.
