Indie's first look at a real Iowa snowstorm

What has happened to the world? It's all so strange and white! I want to go out and see it all! Let me out! Just let me out..NOW!

PLEEEEEASE!  Let me out! Oh, you are opening the door, OMG, I am running..

..wait..what is this shit!? It's cold! It hurts my paws! I don't like it! I hate it! Help me!

Wait...The air is full of moving..things! I can sneak up on them! Yes! I can...

The moving things are down here too! They're small enough to catch. They're cold...

They're behind me, in front of me..they're everywhere! What are these things??

There! I captured one, it is mine! I can torture it and kill it and eat it and...where did it go? What the fuck? This is crazy!

If you dig and smack them around, they turn into little cold balls and you can chase them!

Ha! I have gone far, far away. I am just two scary eyes in the garden. Boo! Are you scared? Ha ha. The Dumb Human with the thumbs is taking pictures. But, she's in the doorway where it's warm. I'm cold and it's dark now. I 'll go act like I like her so she'll let me back in where it's warm.

Ahhh, that was fun, but, this is the life. Right here under this desk, next to the stove. I wish Dumb Human would take her feet off my bed. I must lick my butthole now and then... nap time.

Watching puppies and kittens explore their world is my favorite thing to do. I've been known to pull to the curb to watch a kitten investigate a leaf. I delight in a 50 pound puppy climbing and whining and being completely unsuccessful at climbing on a chair. Like, how did those other guys get up there anyhow? They give my life joy. I so enjoyed your kitten's first experience with snow.

Great pics! Nothing cuter than kittens and puppies discovering nature!

Border, I love it too. Some of our old animals still do it, like it's their first time. They might be senile or just dumb, but, still fun to watch. Niki, the dog, was playing in it with Indie for awhile. That was super cute, but, he just got a short haircut and he got cold fast. His sweater wasn't enough, so he beat it back inside mom's house. Indie lasted awhile.

Sally, thanks. It's dumb, but, I was entertained.

ps..he REALLY was begging in that second photo. It looks like he's playing, but, he wasn't. He was yowling to go out, literally begging so hard he had to grab me.

To anon, I sent your IP to spam. That is not a gun, fool. That is a golf club next to a roll of black garden fabric. The guns here are unloaded, on safety and well locked up, separate from the ammunition which is locked in a separate place. Maybe YOU need to be reported.

Of course I had to go back and see what looked like a gun. I don't see how that could be mistaken. You would have had to stand it butt up and anyone with half a wit would know you don't stand a rifle like that.

And Indie is way too cute. I like to watch the videos on TV that show animals playing in snow. I feel sorry for the dogs that have to go out to do their business. Poor little babies!

Aww, too cute! I love stuff like this, it's just as cute as a baby's first snowstorm. Our cat wasn't allowed out for his first, so he got to sit at the window and stare to his heart's content.

Didn't know a cat could beg like that though, way too funny. It had me laughing!

I love that you are channeling Indy! The picture of him begging is hilarious! I love it!
I don't think we have had more than a light dusting, sometime before Thanksgiving, maybe? We were hoping for more, but it probably won't happen this winter. (I could be wrong. We have had pretty good snowfall during February or March some years ago, but not usually.)
I hope you're able to get the things you need, Pat. I'm concerned about you trekking around out in that weather.
