I wrote a great post. I write off the top of my head, I just have an idea and go for it. I wrote a long page with pics and blogger made it vanish. I can't get back a thought I had and wrote down spontaneously. The dirty cunt is supposed to save it. It picks and chooses what it saves.

I've been hearing that Donald Trump is thinking about running for president. Does anyone have any thoughts about that? Should we turn to a business man to get us out of this cesspool we're in? I would like to know what his feelings are about the crap in the middle east. And what would he do?
Can anyone think of anyone who would work as pres.? And while I'm at it, I know people in Iowa have heard about our Gov. Bobby Jindal. This man has ruined our state and I can't wait until he is gone. He is much like Obama (Although they have different opinions on things. But both are bad and need to be out of office-----for good!)
I know politics aren't discussed here, but I was just wondering what people thought about Trump as a president. Would his arrogance in business (and life) be a plus or minus in world affairs?

I'm with Jane. I know it was a good read, and I have been watching and waiting for another post. I have been off with the flu for the last week (I felt better when I posted a comment from the convention) but overdid it and felt like crap the rest of the day, and actually relapsed tonight. I have been watching for something from you to carry me through this. Now I know that the accursed blogger ate it without so much as a thank-you. I am seriously bummed.
Jane, I don't know what to make of the mess of idiots who all want to run for president. A part of me would like to think that a big businessman like Trump might be good for the budget, but he went bankrupt on some investments, didn't he? He also is a bit of a hothead, and I don't want someone like that with their finger on the button. I really hate how everyone is dissing Hillary, too. I am not sure if she would be a good president or not, but all of the potential candidates seem to be saying mean things about her. That woman who used to be chairman or whatever of HP came off like a real bitch today when I was listening to CNN. She also was a jerk about Hillary. Doesn't anyone else have anything of substance to say? Sheesh. I haven't seen anyone I would trust, so far.
On the subject of Bobby Jindal, you have probably heard about our Gov. Kitzhaber fiasco. Are they all crazy or stupid, or just plain nuts??? I thought he was good the first time he got into office. I had crossed paths with him in one of the hospitals I worked in years ago. He seemed to be okay, but this time, yikes! He resigned last week, and his fiance is up to her gonads in trouble. All kinds of secret pay from companies and unreported donations, etc. I don't know what he was thinking, hooking up with her, but I can tell you I always look at condidates' significant others, and I did not know he had a fiance. I knew about his first wife, and their child, but this one was completely under the radar, and I resent that. I don't think you should be able to keep anything like that under wraps. I don't think he was thinking when he hooked up with her. Or maybe it was just little, one-eyed John who did the thinking. It's really embarrassing that he was governor this time.
And, yes, I did hear about Bobby Jindal, but I don't remember the details.
I just can't figure out how giving Iran nukes is a good idea. I keep watching CNN (because I'm still sitting here like a bump on a log not feeling right), and I am truly afraid of what Obama is up to. I also read that he threatened to use missiles or whatnot to blow Israeli jets out of the air if they were going to go on a mission to bomb Iranian nuclear facilities. You just can't do that!!! Doesn't he have any military or foreign affairs advisers at all??? He doesn't have our best interests at heart, or the world's for that matter.

Exactly why one of my goals in life is to be able to live off the grid. Grow my own food, can it, store it. Make my own clothes (can sew, but haven't blue jeans or jackets yet), build things I need, learn all I can about herbs and how to use them for various things. Just be completly self-sufficent, maybe like in a settlment with others so we can trade and what-not. Not to mention being totally 'green' as we do this. Anyways, enough rambling on about my dreams.
Actually I enjoy Trumps Celeb apprentice and twitter comments but wouldn't vote for him. Nor would very many other people who don't just vote personality. We are close to the Mex border here and Trump and daughter were building condos just south of the border and collecting big non-refundable deposits on the things. Then they just quit and did nothing for all the people who invested. Good luck getting the Mexican government to make them finish the condos or give the money back. So Trump and daughter just wiped out a lot of good people's retirement dreams and took their money and thought no more about it.

Interesting stuff, Border Collie. I thought he was shady, but that is downright mean. The older I get, the more I despise people who mess with other peoples' retirements. They suck.
