How about a bunch of total morons who put on a huge show at a water park in Taipei, Taiwan and sprayed FLAMABLE powder in to a crowd!! OMFG, if you're like me, do not watch the video. I'm going to have nightmares. That photo should be enough. These idiots sprayed TONS, literally, tons of this flammable powder into a huge crowd of people and set them on fire. They were warned that the powder was flammable when they bought it! Who does that? Who fucking does something like that??
One woman has died, almost 500 more are injured and over 200 of those are seriously injured. These complete cunts sprayed this shit on a hot day into a crowd, some of whom were smoking. Yeah, a cigarette is suspected. (sarcasm)
The powder was....made in Taiwan. Well, of course it was.

I saw a clip on tv. Unbelievable but of course you blame it on smoking. Its the only thing it's PC to bitch about anymore. What a terrible thing they did, and serious burns stay with you your whole life. I knew a girl when I was about 10 who was terribly scarred and always having surgery to stretch her skin. Knew a guy who recovered and told everybody, if it ever happened again, just let him die. My father died after 3 1/2 weeks in hospital and one amputation and some grafts. Burns units are the worst things ever. There aren't many of them, specialized burn units, but they are horrible ugly places and all patients are on strongest pain meds ever. So no, no excuse for this shit. And smoking didn't cause it. Hell, everybody in Taiwan smokes. They aren't holding the maker of the product responsible (she wasn't) but rather those who used it. And the poor sucker with the cigarette.
My husband was in the local burn unit for an accident at the plant he worked in. There were different areas for those with different degrees of burns. His burns were minor compared to the rest. I just remember the cries and moans that could be heard. The guy in the room with Michael was near a butane tank when it exploded. He kept apologizing for crying out. I always wondered why they couldn't knock these people out for the pain. I won't ever forget it. (And he was no wheres close to the ones who were badly burned.)
Burn stories break my heart. I can't hardly handle them. Once, years ago, when I was in Iowa City (where I was misdiagnosed with ALS) I met this dude in the courtyard where I was smoking, and he asked me for a light. I looked up and he was a major burn victim. I couldn't stop myself, I said, 'It looks like you already had one.' He cracked up and we became hospital buddies. He was in the last stages of recovery before he went home and I was there for weeks too. We became friends. But, I only went to the burn unit once and then he had to come to my dorm unit or meet me outside. I would not go up there again. I could not handle it.
They are saying the heat of the lights was enough to set everyone on fire. super fucked up. I saw the video by mistake and it is ..well... super fucked up.
There is a special place in Hell for those who would do something like this to innocent spectators.
They are the lowest of the low, and I am just sitting here shaking my head at what was done to those people.
