This rich son of a bee hole should have enough sense not to piss off someone with not one shit left to give. It isn't smart. It isn't safe. I'm talking about Neil Young. The Donald was told by Young that he could not use Young's song, 'Rockin' In The Free World' in his presidential campaign crap. This bitch has his plastic weave on too tight if he thinks he can get away with it again. Besides, anyone with a brain would listen to the lyrics and KNOW that's not a song of hope or inspiration. It's a pissed off ballad for the poor who get shit on by the rich. Unless maybe that really IS Trumps message.

You do not poke the bear. Even Dave Crosby warned Trump on Twitter, "You're messing with the wrong guy". Crabbie and I were talking about Young a bit the other day. We agree he's not exactly, well, sane. But, for all the beautiful songs he wrote like, Heart Of Gold and Hey Hey, My My and Old Man, he also wrote
Let's Impeach The President aimed directly at GW. Neil has never been afraid to name names or to criticize our government. I imagine he's on the FBI watch list. (Aren't we all?) But, if I woke up someday to the headline "Neil Young, singer/songwriter was shot dead today after he ambushed and killed the President and half his secret service agents." I wouldn't even blink an eye. Because Trump is just walking audacity. Neil Young is crazy. He never has been right and I don't care what anyone says, he was weird even when he was young and beautiful. Something in his dead eyes always scared me.
See what I mean? I never dreamed of his paradise that made him think of two. I was always like, get the fuck out of Dodge.

Did you see The Daily Show last night? Jon Stewart said that with Trump in the race and with Hillary quoting a Beatles song "Yesterday", about all the same ol' same ol' Repubs in the race, anyways, Jon said it was the happiest day of his life! Imagine all the material coming his way! He was salivating.
Didn't Neil just divorce a wife he'd had for decades? I still love him, but yeah, it's the crazy that keeps him going.

I like him in small doses. Years ago, I was traveling in Europe, and decided to stay with a bunch of other 20-somethings in a 5 bed room in a chalet. We were all either American or Canadian, and were starved for something from home. Neil Young on someone's cassette (I think) was what we found. I remember everyone sitting on one or two beds, singing along to Heart of Gold.
He looks like you would not want to mess with him for nuthin'.

Wow this is news to me. I always thought of Neil as a real maverick but never as purely crazy. I do remember one great boyfriend I had who was a huge fan of Neil's and who used to chuckle at his druggie demeanour. But I think he's extremely intelligent, the kind that has Xray vision into motive and irrationality. And I think David Crosby is likewise, though a very different character. Remember what he said about Daryl Hannah?
