Laundry day? Nope, it's raining

It's too rainy outside to hang laundry, so I dumped it on the floor and let the 'kids' have at the baskets. They just wear each other out with their games. Loud ruckus makers. But, this is why the Raccoon will never hurt the Cat, (and probably any Cat) when he grows up. He considers Indie, his litter mate. They're brother's from other mothers. Actually, they both believe I am their mother. Brothers don't seriously fight each other, though they will have disagreements, mostly over food, no one will be hurt. That's just bad Coon behavior and considered rude or crazy.

Fishing for grapes in an ashtray full of water. That will occupy him for at least 20 minutes. My house is now set up with what I call Coon booby traps, designed to get his attention and keep him out of trouble. From the grape fishing, he will run under my chair here, where there's a box full of junk to dig in. Then there's the wastebasket, where I now throw any food item that's not messy and might appeal to him. Orange peels, salami rinds..but, I make it a bit difficult to get. I'll put them in raisin boxes and tape them shut. He's a really good scavenger! Then he goes under my desk and up on the footstool where he wrastles and wrangles my feet. He loves being out. Eventually he'll tire himself out and climb up my leg to suck my arm. Then I know it's nappy time and back in his cage nest he goes. He sleeps with a teddy bear.

Oh! I think I forgot to tell you, he's finally weaned!! No more ba ba. Still on the special formula, but, out of a dish.

There's that stupid bee sting. It looks tons better today, but, it still feels like a bee bee is in there.

That sting looks awful. If that is what it looks like as it is improving, it must have been terrible to begin with. I've never been stung by a carpenter bee, but now I am warned.
The pictures of your little guys playing in the laundry basket are very cute. I love the fishing grapes one, too. You are going to help him be one smart little coon.

That bee packed a punch. But, it feels like a hard round thing is in there now. Just like a bee bee or something. Have you ever been stung by a Bumble Bee? Like, it hurts for an instant and then it passes and it's just a bruise feeling. Same with Honeys. But, this mofo felt like fire for about 3-4 hours. An ice pack helped, but, it was an SOB. Mofo stupid bees. I've been watching vids of how to kill them. I am forming a plan. I can not imagine what a Carpenter sting could do to a baby. Geez.
