Meet Keplar 452-b

Keplar 452-b is planet much like Earth. In space terms, it is our next door neighbor. We have found many more planets like this lately. Anyone who thinks we are alone in the Universe and that all alien and UFO's are explainable or part of someone's vivid imagination are actually sounding more and more like a complete idiot. Read more on the various Keplar's, HERE.

Any inhabitants of any Keplar will probably be calling their home anything but Keplar. What a shit name for a new world. Actually, an old world. Keplar 452-b is older that we are. We are the toddlers of the solar system. Wake up, Earth, they are here and they have been for a long time.

So many things are named Kepler after the scientist. I wouldn't mind being a Keplerian. Or whatever.

Since it would take 1400 light years to get there, I can't say I'm all that worried. Anyway, we'd just end up screwing up that planet too.

I'm watching the GAC channel and there is a show about one of those miles long yard sales. They are in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky and there are fields and fields of sunflowers. They are gorgeous. They just look so happy. How could you live there and see them everyday and not be a happy person.

Wow. Really? An entire mile of garage sales? That sounds amazing. The best we do around here is when the historic area of town has their big annual garage sale event. There have been as many as 100 sales in the past, though when the economy slumped the number seemed to decrease somewhat. I haven't been to any garage sales so far this year. It's something that George and I did a lot of together, and I just don't have the heart to do it at this point.
I love sunflowers. I haven't seen any fields of them here, but I assumed that they grew somewhere in the Midwest, I guess. I saw lots of huge fields of them when I was traveling through Spain, but nowhere else. They are absolutely glorious in a field.
