I looked this up when I changed my bedroom fan and was looking for something to do with the blades. Didn't have the table leg at the time so the blades are in my shed. Maybe one day!
I have two old ceiling fans in that garage mess. I may do this too. I may not. But, it IS clever. Those table legs look to precious, you know what I mean. I know you can buy those wood stairway pieces for so cheap. Like $2 bucks. I can't think of what they're called. My brain just shorted out, but, you know.
this is so cool~ I love your profile photo - i was at a nursery up in Cambria, Ca - which is a town near San Simeon Ca where Hearst Castle is - anyway, I came across a really cool painting that I loved - which had a witch. I must find it. I took a photo of it.

I meant to add, at the lumber yard. I've seen those stair pieces. I've seen them in the hardware store too.

I can't wait to see that!
Banister rails? Is that what they're called? Or is that for a balcony?
I could totally see this on your fence though.
Spindles.
