I have a soft spot for her, as y'all know. I've watched a shitload of Hannah Montana in my day. I still have her framed photo over my bed/couch (thanks, Lis), which shows you what my life has become. Sigh. Though HM is gone, Miley still blunders through the funny pages, finding herself. D-listed dude is right, she DOES look like Edie Sedgwick in this photo, (major soft spot for Edie too). But, we all know. I mean, when is it enough? Maybe the day YOU have to shove a tampon in your little girl because she has to be back on set? Ya think, Trish? Ya think Billy Ray? God. How about, fuck, no. It's a wonder this kid is alive. I wanted more of an interview, I wanted to hear more. Interesting little read though.

Ehh, you know, I have tried with Joan. I know she's part of rock history, a living legend, but, I just can't. It aint for lack of not listening. But, I love her story about how she started with The Runaways and Cherry Bomb and fuckin' Cherrie Currie and all that. Respect, for sure. And what Joan contributed to the concert to raise money in the Mia Zapata murder investigation was above and beyond. The band she formed with the survivors of the Gits!! I mean, as a person, as a rocker, punker and contributer, bar none, I love her a lot. But, her music? Aww man. I can't. I feel awful saying that. Maybe her and Miley would be a good couple, though they both have hot girlfriends now.

Beth, it's so nice to know you're a fellow Gits fan. Me too. Man, they were the bomb. That fucker destroyed so much future music I can't wrap my head around it. The Gits were equal to Nirvana and I do not say that lightly. To lose Kurt AND Mia too? Jesus. What a blow to the punk, grunge world. To music in general since they both transended that label. Heartbreaking. Soul sucking carnage.

Such senseless violence against women makes me so angry. My first baby is due 9/7 and I was so certain it was going to be a girl, so of course it turned out its a boy! I'm really hoping I can raise a strong feminist that speaks up for women.
