Mission Park Funeral Chapels North is offering a $20 thousand reward for information leading to the recovery of the body of Julie Mott. Julie died of complications of Cystic Fibrosis, she was 25 years old, The mortuary had conducted her service. 'Mott's corpse was taken from inside the funeral home within hours after her funeral service ended Saturday afternoon.'
"She was removed from here and taken to a visitation suite and would have moved on Monday to be cremated at the crematory, to Mission South,” says, Dick Tips, Mission Park Funeral home, owner.
She would have been moved from there to a grave side service, I assume, which is customary. But, someone snuck in and stole her body. Many of the articles mention how beautiful she was. She was indeed, the woman couldn't take a bad photo. But, the implications of that reporting are pretty sickening and would, no doubt, affect the family.
In comments on one article, I learned this has happened in Texas before. The victims were both blond and attractive and roughly the same age. The other body snatching happened 20 years ago in Lubbock, Texas. About 900 miles from San Antonio where Juile Mott was. Her name was Melinda Ann Lee and her body had never been recovered.
Are the two cases related? Hmm. UPDATE: I just found where Melinda was recovered at the side of the road in.. DALLAS, No suspect has ever been charged. That's a lot of miles to cover with an embalmed body. Is he doing it again? Where's Julie?
WTF is going on in Texas?? I can not find a photo of Melinda, if you can please let me know. This is a nasty horror movie in the making.

Is there even a law against stealing a body in Texas? Cause when Gram Parsons' buddies stole his body and burned it in the desert, they were charged with stealing the coffin but not the body. Cause in California in those days there was no actual law against stealing a body. But that coffin was somebody's property.

that's a crazy story.
she kind of looks a little like a young Helen Hunt.
Gram Parsons is dead??
Parsons is dead..long time. His photo is always in my files. I come across it and smile. He made me happy. He still does.
Fuckin' Texas. When my mom's husband died there, the funeral home told us we could transport his body if we wanted to. Like it's normal there. Ugh.
Just throw the coffin with the body on the back of the pick up and take it to some function?
Yep, Frimm. We could have legally just taken his body (no coffin) and propped him up in the front seat of the car if we wanted to. I literally asked if that was an option, I was so amazed.
She was beautiful. Such a shame that Cystic Fibrosis still kills young people, and creepy that someone took her body. How are family members supposed to cope when they know someone just took her? Sick person, whomever they are.

Necrophila. I read an article where a man had a girls body stashed under his bed and would take it out, have sex with it and put it back. When the body started to decompoase and smell, he dumped it in a dumpster. Next!!!
This is very common in funeral homes. Those people are some sick bastards. They quite commonly will have sex with the younger, prettier bodies. Or the old ones. They ain't picky, obviously. I am guessing while doing the prep work, some sicko's do become obsessed with the deceased and try to have a relationship with it. The "Laura" phenomenon. It worries me. I will be cremated. But rape me when I'm dead? It's not even illegal either. Slap on the wrist is all they would get, if caught. They are rarely caught. A funeral home janitor was caught recently, he said he did it all the time. There are some sick fucks out there. I don't think he got in much trouble. "Disturbing a dead body" or some BS.
