I am a Catholic, and I am in the right to life camp, but I think he is missing an important piece of information. I could pretty convincingly argue that a 16-year-old's body isn't ready for labor and delivery. How can we possibly expect a ten-year-old child to go through this? It may have wrecked parts of her anatomy for the rest of her life (not to mention what it has done to her soul). Also, not to mention the fact that the baby is a product of rape by a parent, and they are likely poor. Who is going to take care of the child? The rapist and his wife? Where will the little girl live from here on? I understand what he is saying, but I think that he is not thinking things through, and I would bet he would absolutely refuse to think things through to their logical conclusion. He has a right to his opinion, and to express that opinion, but his opinion is not as important as a woman's opinion. I don't think a man can ever really understand this situation. They just aren't born with the right parts or the right brain. I am glad that he said what he did, though. It tells me exactly where he stands, and how he thinks, and "no!" I would not ever want him for president, based on his ideas on this alone. Christina

I only watched a minute of it as a special favor to you since you said please. He should expect these questions and devise a way to answer without saying anything, or be outraged that he be asked about this. It is legal to get an abortion in the US. Period. There is no right way to justify forcing a woman, let alone a ten year old, to be a forced container so something can incubate for a year. The little girl is doubtless fucked emotionally for life. The kid the grandma has can expect no great prospects. The little girl's body is also doubtless damaged. There just isn't a way to justify being human containment items. Especially during the majority of a pregnancy when viability outside the womb is not possible. Those cells are parasitic. But whatever, whenever, a little ten year old carrying and birthing a step-brother is too horrible. Hope her mother is jailed along with the step-dad. Huckabee should never answer these questions.
Actually I think I'd like to murder everybody in the story except for the 10 year old. The mom, granny, step-dad, medical personnel who just didn't cause a miscarriage, the reporter, and Huck.
