I am moving, moving, moving! Finally! I have a ton of stuff to do, so if you don't hear from me for a day or two, that's what I'm up to. OMG, I can't believe the house is really done! Well, the inside, at least. They got one side of the outside painted and we had a bad windstorm so they stopped. But, Lis and I are packing boxes and shoving them in the van. We're overwhelmed, but, excited. I have to get all this little crap out of here before I can have the guys move furniture. That's a fucking drag. We're gonna go over now and unload and do some fucking laundry. I am down to my last pair of granny pannies and fuck hanging stuff on the line.
Oh, I'm also fostering three rats until their owner finds a house that allows rats. I think not allowing pet rats is about stupid. Their cages don't smell and they're all really sweet. But, it is another thing to worry about. I can't leave this one with that one and bla bla. I'll get it straightened out so that everyone here gets 'out of the cage' time. I had the most amazing night last night. I have to tell you about it later. I swear, it was magical and a good omen. Okay, I'm off to unload and do chores. I have more curtains to hang and I checked them for spiders. That Hobo spider is one bad boy. Don't mess with those things. My arm is better though. It still feels bruised, my whole arm. But, the swelling is down and the redness is almost gone. Fucking bas assed spiders, man. I only like the nice ones now. The Hobos are going to be squished. Fuck peace on Earth, they started it.

Congrats! (As cheesy as it sounds) I'm so glad for you! I just don't know what else to say than to enjoy your little slice of paradise!
I'm so happy that you have gotten to this point. Sounds like you had a very good night. Now, of course, we will all be wondering what went on! And isn't having a dryer great! No more having to hurt your back trying to hang clothes out to dry. I'm so happy for you.
Congratulations. Have fun moving into your new home.
Karen from Il.
Im so excited for you! Moving is a pain but when you are done and sit down and look around, know that you are home! I'd send you a Welcome mat - but not sure if you really want that message in front of your door.
I feel confident in saying we've all been waiting to see this. Yay!
I am so happy for you!!! I wish you a swift move, with no interference. From anyone.
How exciting, though! Your own space. For real. And. . . not next to your mom.
Did you decide on the wood stove?
Christina
Kitty, that's not cheesy. It's nice. Thanks.
Jane, neither the washer or dryer works. They are hooked up, water valves on, leveled and vemted. I am too tired of buying shiny new junk. Warpath in the am.
Thanks, Jane, Karen, everyone. Christina, no not now. I am just trying to get in there. It's 4 am here, I haven't been to bed yet. Packing mostly. I am terrible at it. I basically just jam anything in boxes. My back hurts.
I can't believe how excited for a move I am, for a person I have never actually met!
Looking forward to hearing about the new place.
Hoping this bit of distance from your mother removes some of the drama/headaches she brings to your life.

I'm very happy for you...it's going to feel like a mansion after living in such close quarters!
How exciting! Congratulations! I can't wait to see pics of the new house once you're settled in.
wOOT WOOT! YAY FREEDOM!!!
I'm breathing easier just reading about it! Glad your arm is feeling better.
Pickles, this move will slow the old lady (s) down, but, they will never stop. They are always and forever trying to control my life. I think it's their hobby. That and fucking me over. I will always be on guard as long as they live. I take nothing for granted. I am a person who checks the door lock 5 times, every time I leave.
Angie, it does! And it's really a tiny bungalow, but, man, it's huge compared to here.
Briezy, I can't wait to show you. I can't wait to actually use some of the cool things I have collected over the years. I'm so excited to decorate it and add some personal touches. I'm thrilled to have a house separate from my junk hoarding mother. No chance at even the slightest curb appeal here and that is something I enjoy, for myself.
Thanks Meissa!! How are you by the way?
Frim, my arm itches real intensely now. I think that means it's healing fine. No dead spots. But, now Lis is even more freaked out by spiders and makes me check everywhere. It's a fucking drag. I told her Hobos are rare, but, they aren't. They're thick around here, everyone has them. Mean little suckers remind me of wasps.
Yay Pat! Can't wait to see the photos and hear stories about your beautiful house and all the animals
Good Luck with the move! I wish I was closer so I could hope in the car for a road trip and help you out. Unfortunately I am just to far. I will be with you in spirit.
I feel the same about Christina. I wish I was close enough to help and you. We need to put a curse on your ex's ass.
:)
HOP in the car.
