Packin' up

This is how Alissa packs. I shit you not. I'm a pretty shitty packer myself, I just throw stuff in a box until it's full and go, good enough. If it's breakable and precious, I wrap it, otherwise, fuck it. It's going a block, either make it or break, I don't give a shit. But, this kid kills me. Look at that shit. She packed one stuffed animal and some dirty clothes. Oh, and some broken makeup. She didn't even hit the box and the only reason she packed those clothes is because it was too far to walk to the dirty clothes hamper. I finally got pissed and said, you know what? YOU are going to pack an entire van load of your stuff, right now. She enlisted two girl friends that live nearby and they set to packing. I thought they did really well, until I unloaded the shit. It was a van full of fucking trash. Old crap stuffed animals no one wants and just stuff that has to be throw out. I give up.

I'm at it again, but, I have to go slow. It's so fucking irritating. I put two back patches on. I got one more load moved, it hardly made a dent in this place. There are boxes everywhere, with paths to walk. I can't stand it. To relieve the stress, I started playing with Tooney. I'd pick him up and shove him in a big box and baby talk him. "I'm donna pack you, yes, I am, you widdle fat cutie baby!" He'd jump joyfully out of the box and I'd scream and he'd chase me. Repeat and repeat. We were having a good time and then Lis got mad and said, all I do is play with that animal and treat him like a human baby and she sent this awful pic to her net friend.

And he was all, "OMGAWWWD." Like I'm the weirdo. I told them to shut up. Toon IS part of the family. I'm sick of what people say and think. I don't expect support from Lis, she doesn't really care about any of our animals. They're mine, but, she was the one who wanted them all. Too bad now. She keeps saying she wishes Toon would go wild and leave, which I think is mean. He never bothers her. (I think she says things like that just to get me pissed.) And until he decides to go wild, he lives here. This is his home too. Last night he stayed out all night alone, but, he was just sleeping in the Mulberry next to the window where I sleep. I could hear him and we chirred back and forth to each other. I called him in this morning and he came in and licked my face and hugged me, then he ate like a pig and crashed.

There he is, snoring in his too small basket. The cage door is open, he can get out if he wants. He likes to come back after a little freedom, where he feels safe and loved. He loves to cuddle too. He is just the nicest animal. I have no idea if he will go wild now. I've never had one like this. Most of them are gone by now. They hear the call of the wild, Fall is breeding season, and off they go. Not Tooney. He shows no signs of wanting to be a wild animal. He's not aggressive and has never challenged me. Other than that one time he bit my finger, which wasn't so much a challenge, as him just being a brat. It was the equivalent of a toddler yelling 'NO!' Once he figured out that he actually hurt me, he felt bad and has never done it again. I just don't know what to think. Except, I know that right now, he's mine and we both like it that way. I guess we'll have to just see how it goes. I wish he was nocturnal, but, he never has been and that's a worry. But, I can't change him. He's a good boy and he's not destructive at all.

I should try and get some more packing done. I fucking hate it. It's a drag and a mess.

I have days when I wonder if I am some sort of weirdo, but, how can you not love something that loves YOU this much?

You said something about the White Stripes in one of your recent comments and I wanted to say I'm glad you finally discovered them.

So what if it's a raccoon. He is definitely not your average raccoon, plus people have weird pets all the time. You both love and understand each other, so that's what matters.

Yeah yeah yeah, let's get back to the White Stripes thing.

Kids (no matter what the age) know the words that will hurt. Having said that, Lis is being smart, she hauled in help. And as for the dirty clothes, wash them at the new place where the drier is.

How can anyone not like animals? I've always wondered about that. My nephew is like that and I always worry about his lack of compassion for them.

Tooney is almost as big as you. I don't know if that means that he is big or you are tiny--maybe both. I worry about his future. I hope when you move, he can adjust to that area and maybe make it his home. Didn't you say there is a river or something near there? Woods and a river would be great. Then maybe you can see him every now and then. That would be good.

I agree with Jane. Kids do know exactly how to hurt you.
Is Lissa excited about the move? How does she feel about the new place? I would think that she would be happy to leave the home you are in now, due to all the paranormal stuff happening. Maybe it will take awhile to get used to the new space.
Tooney sure is cute. He is a big one. I am worried about how things will go, as far as he is concerned, too. I hope he makes the move with you easily, and finds new places to sleep and play, where he can stay safe. I want him to be safe, and the both of you to be happy.
For the record, I love Seven Nation Army.

Lis is a pretty girl with an ugly teen attitude.

I was thinking about cyborg dog. China. Hmm. That's where they have the big dog killing, skinning and eating festivals. The muscle development they have perfected looks like it is meant to be eaten. Now I have to calm down somehow.

Melvin, Melving, sigh...The White Stripes are okay. I will say, their bassline from Seven Nation Army is fun to play and easy. The lyrics are motivating, but, easy too. Put them together and you get a challenge. I finally mastered it. Wanna hear it? I'll call you.

Jane, I'm not a big person, Toon is big for his age..those things combined make it hilarious when I baby him, I guess. Or irritating if you're Lis. HA.

Christina, she's excited for the move, but, so dang lazy. I will work it out with all the animals somehow. Indie has already been over there, he followed my car. So, I'm sure they'll all find me. Toon is special, I'll work with him.

Border, dog eaters..I thought of that too. It make me feel pukey.
