Why D'ya Do It?- Marianne Faithfull

Marianne Faithful is 68 yearsold today and for those of you who always thought, like I did, that she was the cute, mod singer of sweet, but, uninteresting ballads of the sixties, like 'Tears Go By' and were never fortunate enough to hear the real Marianne...here is one of my now favorites. I recommend this whole album, it is fucking hard core and head banging and I love her now as I never did back in the day when the media would never let us hear this. I wish I had been turned on to the real Marianne years ago, she was much, much more than Mick Jaggar's stylish girl friend.
