These photos of the same Valentino dress crack me up. Looks pretty different on a professional model strutting the runway than it does on Emmy Rossum, who's pretty much an ordinary person. It went from hot to "gee, a walking lampshade." Get a mirror before you buy this stuff.

Well plus, to me anyway, stuff that is really, really nuts in real life looks interesting on a runway. It has the whole "work of art" factor. I would't run around wearing Van Gogh's "Cafe Terrace" painting either.
Accesorizing correctly would help some...but on her it's so.....so.....eh...whatever.
She needs to learn to "strut her stuff" also.... you don't need to be a runway model to wear a dress with style... you need to "feel it and love it".... :)
