I know its annoying as hell. Someone not eating for attention and control, of someone eles's time & attention. Emotional manipulation is what it amounts to. I have to agree that its for attention too simply because knowing damn well that being too skinny will surely get her a little - mainly negative comments I'm sure, but attention just the same. That goes for all anorexia and bulimic people, they all want people to notice them and that equals attention.

Reading this blog honestly disgusts me. Anorexia Nervosa is a mental disorder, it is not something you can simply solve by eating a sandwich. You don't just wake up in the morning and spontaneously decide you want to be anorexic. Anorexia is all about control and most people who suffer from it have no idea they are going through it. You can't sit around and say stuff like "it's all about attention, just go eat a sandwich" when you have never been through it. I think anorexia is sad because the effects it has on the body can be fatal and the world it puts you in is hell. It's perfectly fine if you do not feel the same way, but you don't need to go around calling people who have suffered from anorexia "whores" and other unnecessary names that do not even apply to their situation. No one understands that once you have unintentionally started doing this to yourself, it becomes next to impossible to stop. So next time someone you know is suffering from anorexia, instead of approaching them with a sandwich and a card that reads "eat you mother fucker", maybe you should actually just keep your mouth shut.
