The Miss World pageant, as well as numerous other international beauty pageants, have been held in China for years- if anything, accuse the organizations behind the pageants for constantly picking places like Sanya ("China's answer to Hawaii", as they like to call it) over and over again.
FYI, this is the third time in a row they've held it there, so why didn't China decided to win the other times?
