The stupidist lawsuit ever

Luxury jewelry designer Van Cleef and Arpels is suing Heidi Klum over the clover. Oh, for fuck sake. Heidi claims her clover is inspired by a Gothic window design, Van Cleef claims she ripped them off. So I had to go look it all up since I love Heidi on QVC where she peddles her crap.

She may think a gothic window is a clover but it's more of a plump cross design. I always thought that when I looked at it (and that's why I'd never wear it..I don't wanna get my heretic skin burned). BUT, the clover leaf and the plump cross have been used in different cultures for a kajillion years. Van Cleef can't possibly own something like that. I think Van Cleef and Arpels is just mad as a hatter and pissed because people like Heidi's cheap stuff better than their expensive stuff. I hope a giant cubic zirconia falls on their heads. They need to go sue Jesus..he's the one that actually made it popular. If Jesus doesn't show up in court..sue the damn leprechauns.

Are they gonna sue the Pope too? I mean that symbol appears all over religious jewelry & buildings & clothing. How can they "own" a design that nature designed? This is retarded. Hiedi will win.

It's a quatrefoil, and yes it has been used as an architectural element for centuries. VC&A don't have a case.

I just love the way VC&A waited until Heidi's line proved a success before filing suit.

How long has her jewelry line been in production now....? Three years? Four?

Asstards.
