Checkin' the mail...look what I found

Yeah, David Cassidy has a new CD out, but, it sound like all the old Partridge stuff remixed. Come on! Get happy! Whatever...shouldn't David have come up with something new by now? And when will I be important enough to get an email from David Cassidy instead of his PR man???

Nevermind, I've seen him now. Not that he'd like the way I look either, but, I was madly in love with David when he was a beautiful, befuddled, silky haired, singing pretty boy. Now I can take it or leave it. Listen to the remix HERE, if you must.

Both bands, Paul Revere and the Raiders and The Lovin' Spoonful, put out music which was varied, uplifting, and meaningful without being so artsy-fartsy and psychedelic as to fall into the doldrums of mainline 60s mundaneness.
Any serious student of music would be well-advised to look into their "Best Of" albums.

Gawd!!! Are we all just old on here or just really knowledgeable about old school bands? I love this stuff. Mark Lindsey looks good still!!! I Googled him and umm...yeah...he's still hawt!! I remember him on The Dating Game once & I almost died because my little girls heart was broken when he was going to go on a date with someone else!!! But the chick didn't pick him & I remember thinking "He-he...u screwed up chick & she totally knew it, he was MINE!!!" My g'ma was like "He has a pony tail, he looks like a girl"...OMFG!! I was in love!!!

Mark Lindsay all the way for me, too!!!

Did you know he lived in Terri Melcher's house just a year or two before the Manson murders took place there?

I use to RUN home from school to watch "Where The Action Is" and dance along to their music. OMFG - we are old!!!

Man, we really ARE a bunch of old farts on this blog!

Reminiscing on the "TigerBeat" heartthrobs of the early '70's -- Bobby Sherman came to mind... lol

Artistically-speaking, he was no Mark Lindsey or even David Cassidy for that matter... but for me, he sure was "bitchin'".

(wonder what he looks like these days?)

Bobby Sherman!!! OMG! "Here Comes The Brides"!!! & that guy that went on to play Starsky was on there...whats his name??? Bobby Sherman was plastered all over my walls. Remember he built a perfect to scale model of DisneyLand? It was amazing. I remember it from way back when. Bobby Sherman could sing. I had his 45's. What were some of his songs? Mark Lindsay is so tall & good looking still & I do remember something about him & the Tate murder. Wow! How old are we??? How fun for us tho...let the kids go to Perez, us 'mature' ppl can check out DD for our fun!!!! I love it! Thank you for this post DD. It's been fun.
