In a statement released by Heath’s rep, Michelle said, “Please respect our need to grieve privately. My heart is broken. I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father. All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day. His family and I watch Matilda as she whispers to trees, hugs animals, and takes steps two at a time and we know that he is with us still. She will be brought up with the best memories of him.”

I think she still loved him & he wasn't over her either. It was just about his addictions I believe & maybe he would have eventually got it t'gthr. I still think it was a terrible accident, he wouldn't leave Matilda on purpose. It's going to be hard on them all. But she had been raising her alone for a while anyway. But now she has no choice. Sooo sad.
What is there to say, really? It is so terribly sad. I feel so sorry that this happened no matter what the reason for his death. I hope Michelle and the family find comfort in little Matilda. And my God, it is so true, she is the spitting image of her Daddy.
I too think she still loved him and he her. Too bad they didn't have the chance to try again.

God that was just heart wrenching to read. It is just so very sad.
It is hard for someone so young to loose a parent. No matter how many memories, how may pictures, how much you talk about them, a child just can't grasp the deepness of it all and the person your trying to remember, because they just can't remember their character and it will be very hard for Matilda as she grows as she realizes this.
I know her mom and family will do the best they can to keep his spirit alive in her and to here and certainly if nothing else when they say he loved her profoundly, she will know they mean it.

I am so glad that he got to leave a little piece of himself behind for them to love. She's adorable, at least they have her. & Susan...it's Friday, I'm about to go home & I'm just fu*king with ya'!!!
