Why Paula Abdul is an Idol judge
This is an old Paula vid..I never paid much attention to Paula in the day, it wasn't my kind of thing. I'm more of a blues gal myself, and a punk rock freak. But, I was checking out some old Paula and all I can say is..WOW.

That was awesome DD! yay! Fun times. That was very sexual & hawt as he**. haha! Those old guys couldn't even stand up after it was over!!!! Good one. I love Paula & I wish the dance music video would make a come back. But does anybody even show music vids anymore? MTV sucks at it. & Who didn't love VH1's "Behind The Music"??? What happened to that?? Bring back the good stuff people!!! We still love it.

The routine is a blatant rip off of the "Take Off With Us" dance routine from the movie All That Jazz, but it's still fun. She could really dance, she was (and is, I guess) a great choreographer, incredibly disciplined...I don't know what happened. Must have something to do with addiction to pain pills for the chronic back problems all professional dancers seem to end up with.

she got old. happens. I caught a reflection of myself dancing at a wedding Valentines weekend. In my head I was groovin', in reality I looked like my body had caught fire and I was trying to put it out. They had mariachis and stuff and there I am on the video, no bueno.
she has a new video and still looks good. Randy on the other hand...
She was lead dancer and choreographer for the lakers for years and eventaully left that to choreograph for movies, big name videos and stage productions. Shes worked with alot of big names and shes good at what she does, and eventually got into the singing side of the performance things.
I agree she comes off like a total nut half the time, but she earned the hard way everything she has, unlike many today.
Get it Paula!! I love the old Paula. Now [ sighs ] I don't even know. She's entertaining but everyone is laughing at her, not with her. Sad.

oh CHRIST i miss the 80's!!! flashdance is on tv here in melbourne tonight. i LOVE that movie. i wish it wasn't on so late!! we all get old and so did she and so am i.
