His American accent does sound retarded. His normal accent is so much more pleasant. I still love that show though. His character's hilarious. I wish I worked for him.
I love the show too. And I agree with DD, he is HOT! I couldn't get the channel here before that carried House, so I went out and rented all the seasons I could. Great program and I just love Dr. House...bad accent and all.

For MM, I haven't OD'd, I don't take any pills except an aspirin or tylenol for the occasional head-ache, and yes I think he's a great looking man...Could it be maybe that I'm older than you and closer to him in age?? No matter, he's still hot as far as I'm concerned.

Cracks me up that Brits are the only ones who think he has a lousy American accent. Only things I can think of are -- Either you have a tin ear, or you're just overwhelming jealous. He's the first Brit I've ever heard who has not just a flawless American accent, but an incredibly sexy flawless American accent. I still love his beautiful, natural English accent more, but, seriously, where do you Brits get off thinking you can judge "Americanese"?
