The Fonz to get a statue

Milwaukee plans on erecting a bronze statue of Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli along the Milwaukee River. Henry Winkler is from Manhattan, New York, but Happy Days was supposedly centered in Milwaukee. Milwaukee will not be featuring The Fonz in his famous motorcycle though, he rode a British bike and Milwaukee is famous for Harley's. So they've decided to do a statue depicting Fonz's famous shark jump. Which is kind of weird, because it wasn't his greatest moment. That scene is where the famous saying "jump the shark"came from.

Jump the shark, in case you don't know (but, I know most of you do) means "past its peak." It's when TV shows do absurd things to boost their dwindling ratings instead of saying "rest in peace" and cancelling the show.

I think they should do Arthur in his office (the bathroom of Arnold's hamburger joint) combing his hair in the mirror. So many good scenes took place in his "office." Remember how he'd get the comb out, look in the mirror and say "Heeeeeeeey", realize he was perfect and put the comb back, never touching his hair?

Personal trivia no one cares about...The Pfister Hotel, downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin...nicest, most elegant place I have ever stayed in my life. A classy Victorian masterpiece. Unforgettable and unbelievable.

Thats ridic. They gotta come up with something way cooler than that & that episode takes place in California anyway, not in Milwaukee. It's stupid. & it is infamous for it's stupidity and will forever be knwon as such. Henry even did an episode on another sitcom, can't recall which, where he guested and was on a boat & jumped over a shark on the boatdeck.*moans & chuckles ensued* It's lo-level funny now and he knows it, but the show was never the same after that time. They gotta come up with something better. Cooler. I think a group of all the Happy Days guys in Arnolds parking lot, plotting their next hit on the new "sweater" girl.
