Steven Tyler says he went to rehab to recover from foot surgery.

“The doctors told me the pain in my feet could be corrected but it would require a few surgeries over time,” Tyler says in a statement released Thursday. “The ‘foot repair’ pain was intense, greater than I’d anticipated. The months of rehabilitative care and the painful strain of physical therapy were traumatic. I really needed a safe environment to recuperate where I could shut off my phone and get back on my feet. Make no mistake, Aerosmith has no plans to stop rocking. There’s a new album to record, then another tour.”

Kirsten Dunst says her stint at Cirque Lodge was for depression and Eva Mendes implies her stay there was for a movie role. I don't care about them (yawn), but, I do like Steven and I believe him. There's been no behavior lately that would suggest anything different. Get well, Steven!

He has to stop acting like he's 20 on stage though and his fans won't mind. Geez. I can relate. I was invited to go horseback riding recently. My first questions once would have been.. "Got one that's not broke? Got one nobody can ride? That's mine!" Now the first thing out of my old bag mouth was "Only if you have a gentle geriatric gelding and a good saddle." We all get there Steven Tyler..it's part of life.

This is a cool guy. older maybe but Still cool, like Mick & Keith. He's a rocker and will never stop acting like he's 20 DD! Not till he's dead. I also believe him. He is going thru a divorce tho (or that was the rumor), as is Liv, his daughter. Thats weird. Maybe they should make Divorce-Rehab? They should! Old people go to rehab for injuries all the time. He's old and had an injury, so it's believeable.
DD I dont want to be stupid but what is a "gelding?????"
That's not a stupid question. A gelding is a cut horse. A nuetered male. In general, mares are considered unpredictable because of hormones. Stallions are passionate and wild. All horses are individuals, but, in general, geldings are placid and plod along doing what you ask of them and won't hurt you. I'm no horsewoman, by a far cry, but, I've owned a few and you pick up some things. :)
Don't tell him to die DD! He's FIIIIIINE prancin' on stage. No need for him to bullshit abt rehab - he's been nothin' but honest. LOVE HIM MORE THAN MAYER NOW.
;} mm
Dish says: "There's been no behavior lately that would suggest anything different."
